The following is purely my opinion & feelings. I’ve loved RP for the longest time - joining in 2015 - and been disappointed for quite a while too… the disappointment was slow n gradual…

The last NEWS & ANNOUNCEMENTS on these forums was 3 months ago!

Players & community are in the dark. The Sound of Silence!

It shocks me more that MODs are not well informed as the site direction: Site Updates, fixes & changes.

The lattest is a new: Strange table messages an update thats unannounced to the community or MODS?!?!

A few MODs have commented on the issue. Clearly they are as clueless as the community - the Sound Silence & feeling of darkness… disappointment…

This is fairly common for RP. Its happened alot previously! Its hugely disappointing to me…

A while back RP started spamming pages w PKO mtt PopUps, and the community & many players complained! It seemed to fall on “deaf ears”. OMG im not sure thats an acceptable phrase in 2024. Mute ears seems more acceptable to me… Maybe not… Selective hearing is my new realisation! My younger brother had this skill according to my parents.

Many players hated PKO PopUps spam yet no response from RP.

I noticed PKO PopUps stopped and was happy, but Why?

I’ve noticed many other site Changes & Updates that went unannounced!

The site doesn’t bother fixing old bugs either. I had posted bugs, glitches and also supported these posts to hear the Sound of Silence… disappointment…

Id love to see a TO DO LIST for bugs, changes, updates.

The greatest disappointments on RP is the players & community not being more passionate & expressing disappointments. The second greatest disappointment is RPs lack of interest in fulfilling the demands of the players & community.

Unmet expectations create disappointment.

I think the reality has sunk in for just about every player here.

We the players, lowered expectations long ago to cope with it all, sometimes without

padded walls.

My take on those strange table messages, as you call them, are actually beneficial letting us

know immediately, there might be a freezing or other issue going on.

As I see it, It’s a step in the right direction.

My read on your disappointment is that you’re with us, since you only highlighted

the word “disappointment” only once.

Players raising without even a pairing,

Players finding solutions that voices never shared.
And no one dared disturb the sound of silence.

And the players bowed and prayed
To the poker god they made.

And the sign flashed out its warning,
In the words that it was forming.

And the sign said, “Fix Replay now!!”
was written on the subway walls
And tenement halls, and whispered in the sounds of silence,"

this site has always had tons of issues. It is a very boring site and i for one only stay here is because it isn’t a cartoon factory. i have gone from 6+ hours a day of playing to about an hour. i think most players don’t socialize much is because of the strict ridiculous chat filter! just my opinion

When you joined the site you should have viewed the site rules. They are available at the bottom of the dashboard under the heading of site rules. Issues with the site are addressed. This was formed as a friendly site, most folks do not have to degrade other players to enjoy a friendly game. Mods and Reps will continue to enforce, as we can, abuse of players, according to the posted site rules. We will also continue to help and advise all players with the difficulties that they may experience.

saying the word nerd and being chat banned for it is ridiculous…my opinion of course

of course, but I have yet to see anyone being chat banned for saying nerd, possibly a warning, but I still have my doubts. I can say I have never muted anyone for saying nerd.
