Yes, real poker. Not a game with magic cards, and river running specials. Just saying!
players are playing with play money and I for one would not bet like I do if it were real.
its free dude quit acting like a baby and play or go somewhere else
at first i felt the same way that it was rigged but when i calmed down i realized there is no gain for RP on who wins.you gotta take the loss on the chin, laugh and move on to the next hand. if someone has found a way to manipulate the system i am sure RP will eventually find out and do something about it. some players believe that they should win everytime well you dont. i was in a final three in a tournament with an unnamed player and was way ahead, i went all in everytime because the player cried everytime i won. i dont want to play with people like that. move on and have fun at another table, PEACE. this is a good legitimate site and there are some really good people out there. hang in there.
Thanks hophopnotdead for the vote of confidence. We are the real deal. All we strive to do is create a fair, safe and secure site where players can enjoy the beautiful game of poker. There are no backdoors, god modes or anything else you can think of to see other players cards or influence in any way the game, and there has never been a single confirmed incident of manipulation. We have a highly skilled team of engineers to ensure we keep it that way. Cheers.

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled upgrading programing. I wonder if any other players think its time replay poker
upgraded there programing at the present time games being played are a joke this is not a fair representation of real poker you hear players referring to the site as bingo joker poker and other names surely its time redress the situation
Thanks, Iāll do that⦠Iām not saying players donāt try and game the system. There will always be players who try to collude at the table, thatās why weāve got Robert on the team in charge of Security and Collusion Detection. What Iām saying is that as far as weāre aware the software itself doesnāt have any backdoors, god modes or whatever you want to call it to exploit. Of course, we always need to remain vigilant, weāre human after all and mistakes sometimes happen.
Yeah, I admit, itās very frustrating when you already know, based on a players rating(ranking/chip count) you are always behind the 8 ball.
If that said player is ahead pre flop they win about 99% of the time, conversely, if they are behind, you literally have to bet them out to claim the pot because they more so than not will catch the river card and beat you.
The risk/reward is so far off on this site.
Gould, Happiness, or any other mod/admin, create a beginner user and join the site and go play a medium stakes tourney.
Watch the pattern unfold before your eyes that you canāt beat a higher rated player unless you bet them out of the pot.
Just try a test on your own program(specifically tournament play) - Play a couple hundred hands and let it play out - no raises - and watch the higher rated player win majority of the time. Iād wager they win at least 80% of the hands if you just let it play out without human intervention. So, 200 hands and the ratio will be about 160/40 in favor of the higher ranking player.
Your program is clearly geared that way.
Now, when I bet, I take into account the players rating knowing the computer wonāt allow them to ācatchā their card if Iām already a higher ranking player.
The only time it seems the computer semi simulates real poker is when there are several players in the pot.
Heads-up, itās a no-brainer, the higher ranking player most always wins.
I like the site from the stand point its very user friendly and clear cut.
However, after been here for only a couple of months, I see that Iām not actually winning based on my skills, itās more to do with to whom you are matched.
The larger the tournament the more glaring the inequities are.
Iāve discovered this playing only a couple of months, imagine the players that have actually been here for awhile, they have got to be beaten down by this. Now, what I see during tourney play is players referring to āmagicā when Replay does what it does best.
I know itās a play site and shouldnāt be taken as real but a little sense of reality would make the site so much better.
I donāt like winning if I know it really wasnāt due to my skills.
I dont think you can beat out from pot most player in playchips. All want it to play, all want it to be in hand near every time, in real , you lucky in game every 20th or so hand. Its no brainer, more rivered players, more flush, pairs and whatever. Some players oldtimer in site , skilled player, your claime, make new acc and play ⦠lol⦠Happi tested the site ( actually time-to time) she make 250k+ in no time on low or in med. Actually more she make as the main acc. ( I hope I dont have to say she cant keep the chips) Its said "play"chips, its called āplayā and āfreeā becouse it is. You just cant make it more realistic without the actuall players at the table.
Marcipan, thanks for the response. Let me be clear, I also have won over 500K in chips, it can be done.
Iāve won a few tourneys and placed several times in a short period of time.
Iāve only been playing a couple of months.
However, as much as Iād like to take credit, it wasnāt entirely due to my skills, I was getting very unrealistic hands against lesser rated players, which increased my opportunity to win.
Any beginner could have done the same. Nothing special about what I did.
Reread what I said - Try playing against a higher rated player in a mid-level tourney and you will see that you will not win consistently - not due to their skills - but because the program is favored towards the higher rated player.
The pattern is easily detected after you play a few hands.
Again, the frustrating part of it is realizing you arenāt losing or winning due to your own unique skill at poker. There is some āmagicalā intervention going on thatās out of your control.
And some advice for you.
I could care less whether I win or lose because as you said it is āplayā chips and the site is basically free so there isnāt a risk of losing money.
I have no dog in this hunt. I just want to āfeelā as closely as is possible on a āfreeā site, that I won/loss due to my skills.
Instead of you trying to listen to some feedback that will ultimately grow the site, you keep defending against any constructive criticism. The perception is out there that the system, not the player, is determining the outcome more so than not.
We all know, perception is reality, and you have to fix the perception, period.
I hope you take this feedback on good faith because I like the site, want the site to succeed, I see the efforts that are being made(all the responses to concerns/questions), and I see you are and should be an advocate for the success of the site.
That is a good thing.
Letās look at it objectively and see if there maybe IS something to this.
Thanks in advance.
Thanks for the advice. You may not know, we mods work for free for Rp and for the users. Im just a regular player as yourself. I think safe to say, Im the most objective and fair with all, allways look the other site. Unfortunatelly, sometime, RP cant say things, becouse users may missunderstand, especially who dont know programming, about ārandomā, or IT work, or even business rules. So, I do speak up. We are not employee of RP. ( Im not talk about āfreeā site, I talk about āfree chipsā or āplay chipsā what mostly make the game-play unrealistic) Perception is tested by third party, ( First playchips site ever) just like real money site. I think thet is big. Nice conversation allways wellcome!
Regards
This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled Excessivly Repetitive Card Dealing assures victory to only one lucky player. A deck change or deck shuffle should be issued after 20 hands due to repeating card distribution,
I pay attention to all the hands I play and noticed that the hands donāt really ever change. I won a hand today because I knew from the flop and my hand that the last card(river) was going to be a jack. I can also tell that if I stand a chance to win in the first 20 hands. which means that the guy who won 33% of his first 20 hands is most likely going to dominate the second 20 handsā¦
There for the guy who didnāt win once in the first 20 hands doesnāt have a shot to change his odds. You say its an algorithm that assures fairness but Im tired of prolonged games because a player wonāt go all in on my dominant hands. Iām not card counting by any means I can just recollect that those same cards in that same order were out there a few hands ago and alot of you have noticed that you wonāt stop getting certain cards in your hand or in the flops⦠My last game had 3 of kind 8s every 5 hands or so⦠So please for the sake of fairness and game randomness please incorparate a deck change or shuffle at some point.
