The fairness debate

In real life, real money, both hand should folded pre-flop.

In real life, real money, That hands should not played ā€œall inā€ pre-flop.

Sorry you feel that way. I can tell you that you couldn’t be more wrong. We’ve worked hard to make the game as fair and realistic as possible. There are no backdoors, rigged hands, predetermined actions… we offer poker, plain and simple with nothing added. Unfortunately the industry has had it’s fair share of corrupt operators, and unfortunately that tarnishes everyone with the same brush; but I can assure you we’re 100% honest, and our only goal is to create a really awesome poker experience.

yeah until you chase. i have noticed a similar thing even when changing play styles up. i lose w pockets 90% of the time and when i chase i only hit 4% if it is fair and game why can some hands win back to back on all ins w no hand up against my kq? i lost 23000 in less than twenty minutes

I agree w trav . the way the hands play are unrealistic. i have lost with full houses and flushes against river card dueces or fives 98% of time

nicely put.

i have come to the same conclusion

i will not buy until i see some realistic gameplay without the crap magic.

one more time!

You expect to win when you not even have a top pair on the flop and knowing there comes a turn and river? You call the bet when you have only a pair of 10s (and K on table) and A on the turn and A on the river?

Well said, I will accept your statements as fact. I will of course continue to watch and make comments from time to time. Russ Jennings

Happiness is correct.

Also, consider — What players fail to take into account at RP is the number of hands played per hour will be considerably more than at a real table. Cards at a real table must be gathered and shuffled even with a two deck system mistakes are made and must be sorted out (dropped cards and shown cards). Oh, don’t forget the arguments about whether cards were mucked or not, was that a chain bet or not, did the chips stated match what was presented, and don’t forget the argument about a check raise. All these slow a regular game down. RP just continues on regardless. I would estimate at least 3 times more hands per hour. I contend because of this increased number of hands played a false perception of a flawed system is perceived.

Stop the presses! A pair of 10’s lost.

an, and I thought I was the only one that thinks things are not right. Seem like people agree with me. Example: I was at a table and saw another player hit a Straight flush with two full houses losing. The very next hand the one that had the straight flush hit four of a kind and me with a high flush. This just dosn’t happen, never. I quit playing in replaypoker.

wildbill25, do you have the hand ids? I’m guessing what you’d really like to know is how many times each type of hand is seen on the site daily/weekly/monthly/yearly and see how those numbers stack up against the expected frequency. If the frequency is reasonably close to the expectation, then that was reassure you that the system is performing as expected. That’s something we intend to add. In the meantime why not ask regular players about the distribution of hands at the table, it’s not scientific but I think it’ll serve to reassure you.

I want to see that too!!

it is a game for free let it go people

in a hand I played I got 4 off a kind 8s and someone else had 2 pair and won. what is up with that I lost a lot of chips

You played Omaha? In Holdem you make your best hand out all 7 cards (best 5 cards), but in Omaha you must use 2 of the hand cards and 3 community cards to make your best hand. You can not use 1 or 3 hand cards, you must use 2 of the 4.
