The fairness debate

Now You say they know that they win, so if you know, it should be easy to hit the top 10, I think Marcipan has a point. I also wanna point out, about the rubbish I always see about pocket aces, i saw 3 times pocket aces in 12 hands, and guess what, 3 times it won… I was in 2 of them with KQ hitting the Q. In my humble opinion its the way he played the Aces… he didnt have 5 callers cause he wasnt a player calling every freaking hand, so lots of players call with rubbish. The preflop raise let people who knew he was tight fold the crappy hands, increase his odds to winn his Pocket aces. I dont get it, I won over 6 million and i never noticed what you still are on about. yes I lose vs crappy hands cause thats free poker, specialy on the 100/200 200/400 blinds ring tables. I won numerous tourneys, not by knowing I would win, but by playing patient. I know I am not the best, but I do know I most of the times dont play crap. I also do know I get called with crap and also know when its obious the got lucky and then fold with a good hand. Thats free poker for you. I cant believe you all still about a free, so called unfair game? I still havent got a good reasonable answer to the WHY they would go true all this trouble to favour some players around. I didnt buy any chips, but still won my amount of chips, why cant others then?

Joe, you say you slowplayed your aces. By raising it could easy be he would have folded that hand, but you didnt and let him in. He could have numerous hands, flush, straightdraw on the flop open ended, or even KJ JT, and so on, its not strange this happens, watch the proffesionals on TV and see some players raise with sht hands and hit a flop vs someone who has a great hand. It just happens. If I see a flop like that I know I can easy lose the hand…

Ron. An excellent dissertation on what, you, I, marcipan and most of the other players who love, support and are successful on this site feel. If these folks spent even a portion of the time they spend making excuses for losing they might see a light at the end of their “tunnel vision”. Well said…Wtg !!! WBH

Can I just say, total BS Trav, anything can happen and you played a medium hand while he had a very nice hand… Just dont get why you complain and see consiracy going on… It was a medium hand where the best hand won,

Yeah, that’s why I have more chips than you, from being so unsuccessful. Lol, you are a Mod and carry the water for the site that needs some adjusting to make it even better. You aren’t doing it any favors when your patrons are telling you, most any good players and players that have left, that there is some adjustment needed regarding the deal.

You aren’t doing the site any favors.

They’re Just FOLLOWERS, No insight, Look at the number of players here… A phone app gets 1000s more players… Open your EYES not your mouth, mods!

Well if its that bad why not play a phone app, its not about the kwantaty but quality and I for 1 think the mods do a good job, a lot better then on other free chips sites where I been on, where the Mods love to be in control. I think I have a good inside, run another poker site and there always be people who think there are conspiracy complots against them…Fact is, that this site has loads of members, the big majority that dont complain getting bad beats and some just see conspiracy…I didnt know you were a follower if you dont think the site is rigged, are you then a follower cause you jumped on the mary band of conspiracy believers?

Leave it… he don’t know “Help Center” all info there. He don’t know Mods sacrifice they own time… ( for him too )

He don’t know 4 years old thread got 66 followers, oposit to 3-4000 pp log in daily… He don’t know how fast this site grow… He don’t know RP not work on phone ( YET ) He don’t know he play free and how he should enjoy add free site… He don’t know how “random” calculation work He don’t know how to look up on independent source ( google) these things He don’t know how much RP care about players (too much in my opinion) He don’t know interfere to the play is no point at all… He don’t know encourage pp play more in a fair way much efficient… He don’t know how to ( don’t want it to be offensive in any way) read this

I actually agree with Ron’s points (although I did not slow play my aces, and I almost never do, I understand that of course they will lose sometimes).

I am not sure why Marcipan is trolling rather than having an actual discussion, but I do not think this site is biased. I think people (including myself) get hung up on bad beats and sometimes blame the site for their bad play. Given that people will play any 2 cards, the odds that somebody has a flush or other monster on almost every hand are actually quite high.

Fact cant be trolling, if true facts upsett someone, thats they problem. Also like to see someone not to argue , but make counter-statement or defense they claim, may prove of any way. Up to date, dont see any of that… Regards

AAhahahaaa. The numbers are high! hahahahahahaa…“come back to the real world” you only MOD cause you like to control …

Open EYES not mouth!!

End of the Day I couldn’t give a flying F@#K what you think, say, feel about me! You don’t matter.

I haven’t played in a tourney in a long time, so I can’t speak to that. But I agree that the site is set up for certain seats at each table to win. And I’ve noticed that new players are favored also, most likely to keep them coming back.

One upset people/person will with-in one’s own game COULD play at any time of a certan day and be a butthead.

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled Getting rivered so much that I think replay is rigged. It honest to god feels like I’m getting screwed by replay. Honestly I’ve opened quite a few accounts over the years and I felt like I was getting rivered yet could not hit cards so I close the account, retry, then same thing happens. I never wanted to buy chips so this time I paid $2 for 60,.000 last night. Then suddenly I wasn’t getting rivered and I was hitting cards. Now today it’s back to being rivered I had KK vs Q7 they hit a 7 on the flop i’m allin they call hit another 7 on the river just now I had aces vs some bs like 86 and they call my allin and river a straight. I know I’m not making this up I’ve seen it enough I’m convinced this is rigged somehow because they want you to continue to give them money.

My hands never hold up on allins or at least probably 80-85% of the time they dont I always get rivered the only exception was last night when I finally bought 60,000 chips for $2 then suddenly my cards would hold up. Today its back to rivered again. Hrrm, coincidence. I’ve given up on this site then tried again like 7 different accounts same ■■■■ every time. The only reason I come back is I love multi table tournaments. Its a shame you guys just cant let people have fun and not constantly get rivered so you can make more money. This is setup to favor donkeys.

Apparently they merged my post to the same thread. Anyway its just sad that greed takes over from people playing good cards. I think I will quit playing unless I hear you guys are revamping your system to be fair and then I will try it again and see. I don/t want to hear its not rigged I have thousands of hands of evidence.

I have over 100k chips right now because like I said I did well last night in multiple multi player tournaments, big ones and finished between 1st and 5th like 5 times after I bought chips. So it’s not that I’ve lost everything or any type of sore loser. I can just see the writing on the wall because it’s already happening over and over and over when I played today and started getting rivered again. I’m not going to spend my time on something that is unfair.

I still find it interesting that people think it’s rigged. I haven’t bought any chips and I’ve accumulated around 270,000. Granted I don’t play tournaments unless it’s sit n go but I just haven’t seen where I thought this was rigged. I’ve had good night, bad nights, and terrible nights and I’ve also had big winning nights. Can’t complain at all for a hobby that cost me nothing.

I have played 94,000 hands on this site in 6 months. Here’s some math:

If I play 15% of hands dealt (most people here play even more), and get a bad beat in 5% of those (AA will lose to 23o 13% of the time, so 5% is a conservative estimate), that would be over 700 bad beats. Given how long bad beats stick in your mind, it is going to seem like they are happening all the time.

Bad beats happen all the time by shear probability. I have also accumulated over 5.5m chips from playing MTTs, SnGs, and ring, without buying any.

One more thing I have learned. Don’t get your chips in pre-flop unless you have AA or KK (or maybe QQ)!!!

People think that just because fools on this site will call your AK with A3, that it is a good idea to shove with AK. But AKs will lose to A3o 23% of the time (and to pocket deuces 50% of the time). Good poker players cut down on variance by getting the bulk of their chips in post-flop with a made hand, not pre-flop with a good starting hand.

Even AA will lose to T9s 23% of the time, so shoving pre-flop is never a guaranteed win.

What made hands? I’m almost always on a draw that never hits. While whoever calls me hits their draws. The best I’ll have is two pair and it’ll lose on the river. And if I shove with KK and AA I almost always lose. It’s like the reverse of real poker the worst hand wins like 80-85% of the time against me. Nobody’s going to tell me I"m wrong because this is how I perceive it having made over 7 accounts. Again the only time my cards were holding up were after I bought chips yesterday. Otherwise the only way I can win hands is pray they fold but that doesn’t happen often around here no matter how much you raise.

I would love to be able to win with the “worst” hand as you suggest. I would be a legend.
