The fairness debate

Are you for real? Are you saying that nobody has ever beat 3 of a kind with a straight on a real table?

What I meant was this guy had no hand and went to the River needing two cards to complete and inside straight. That’s all and no I’m no so naive to think it doesn’t happen in regular real poker world. In the real world, unless one has no choice, as a rule, you wouldn’t follow a hand that would need 2 cards, 1 to complete the bridge to the other, on the inside of the hand and 1 on the outside to finish it. That’s all. And yeah I’m for real. If one uses that kind of strategy then I’d love to play them.

I’m enjoying the game and if we don’t comment then there is no point in having this community board. And I realize it’s just a game. Means nothing. I, like a lot of other players, ā– ā– ā– ā– ā–  about losing a hand they thought they had dead to rights. So, we give you folks something to talk about, lol.

I get that, however you have to remember, nothing is certain until it’s certain. Two cards to come, that’s a lot of possible options and outs for players remaining in the hand. Flushes, straight flushes, Full Houses, 4 of a Kinds, we’ve seen them all.

No crying in baseball and poker my friend::slight_smile:

Do you understand MTTs are much higher variance than ring games?

Even pro players that play for real cash in MTT (tournaments) go for long periods losing and not making significant cashes!

once again look into how many hands you play V/S fold… I fold 85% and win 12% most times by showing my hands… just trying to play a regular league game. like the American games w/ players like tomcak and see if you can make top 10 in the leader board after a month
… then we can talk

Wait, you win 12% of the hands you play which is 15%? So, your win rate is .12/.15 = .80 or you win 80% of the hands in which you play? Very impressive, I hope I remember that if we ever play against each other. I hope, I will always have the nutz.

I wish I had the answer to the question, but don’t really understand why the question of The fairness debate even exit’s. Everyone has the same opportunity on Replay to win the Tournaments/Games they play in!
I can only suggest to all, Play the cards that are dealt you to the best of your ability with patience, discipline and faith.

Why don’t you try playing some league games and see if your luck changes.

Id like to know, what is the name of the program or software that runs your random number generator. I’m wondering if the RNG program that your using is the same as Global Poker… or if its the same one used on Carnival Cruise ships.

If it is the same software program, then I can adjust my game play accordingly…i.e. not game on the cruise ship this September for live cash.

That way I can also look it up and hack it and mess with it like others do.

Here you go:

Now let’s see you hack it…

It happened last year. I think that player gave him or herself 30 Billion Chips. Of course they got caught.

Yeah, they joined one day, and in a couple of days had billions of chips.

But surely the reason you see less big hands is that in a cash game people are much more likely to fold on the flop instead of chasing draws when the odds are against them.

Players on replay poker will routinely call a pot-sized bet to a weak flush draw, which technically is completely wrong, but of course you will see some flushes coming home.

Exactly. Wasn’t that hard at all for that person. It’s going to happen again.
