I wish it could be limited, because it’s annoying, but how do you go about it. I guess Replay could stop giving them free chips every time they log in after they’ve gone all in numerous times in a short period and losing all of their chips. Other than that, don’t know how you stop people betting all their chips in No Limit.
Guess i’m lucky i seldom encounter a player going all in all the time. I guess you have to accept that some players do this and just relax until they bust out or go play pot limit…no sense rehashing the subject over and over lol
I have no idea how to control this epidemic. It seems to get worse daily according to what I’m reading here.
It’s amazing to me that most of you allude to the fact that it is NEW or very low stakes players bingoeing each and every hand. NOT TRUE! A very good example is a player found at night playing 7 stud hi-lo freeroll, who brags before each hand that he is raising eveyone else no matter what he has EACH and EVERY time. I got into trouble once before with support by naming him, but he isn’t hard to find. AND he is only 1 example of MANY! So trying to limit new or low stakes players won’t solve the problem.
Raising before most hands is not what people are referring to in this post. They are referring to players who continuously go all in before the flop. Basically, they are going all in with any two cards.
So what would solve the problem?
No idea since it’s spread across the board. And smooth99, I wasn’t just referring to aggressive players only. There are plenty of high stakes players that go all-in all the time. That’s why Craig, I have no idea for a solution other than moving to another table. I just wanted to point out it’s not just the newbies…
While I’m not discounting the fact that there are Bingo players at higher levels, they are much rarer than sitting down to a 6Max game at lower stakes and having 3-5 players go all in regularly, often in the same hand.
Never saw a bingo player WIN a tournament yet and i saw what you said, that is not real poker or fun-to me.
It happened early on at my table today at the League of Legends #28. For awhile seemed like every other hand a player (except a different player each time) would go all in preflop.
In some ways it’s worthy, I guess, since everybody folds and that player wins the pot, but it’s not much of a pot. If you really have a premium all in hand, seems you’d want to get more chips out of the deal.
I suppose the idea is to either make an early exit or double up and be in great shape.
If bingo was going on at the ring, I’d probably just get annoyed and leave after noting about that player.
If anyone wants to increase their position in a MTT or just increase earnings in ring games, that is what they should do. I think a lot of folks think their AA dealt is a premium hand and don’t want to play it out, knowing it can loose easily!
That’s a part of all rebuy tournaments, can be annoying but its to be expected. I think in general for mtt’s people simply dont fold when they probably should no matter what the raise is or what the table position is of the raiser. eg. UTG raises 3-5b with a power hand, gets called by almost the entire table by hands like J7o, QTo, any and every small pair etc. Then even when theres an A on the flop, up to a pot size bet will still get check/called by almost everyone who has connected in any way. All-ins can be the only way sometimes to push back the zombies, maybe its something to do with the sound effects lol.
I’m sick of them calling.
It’s easy to identify these players and I set them up over and over. Put them all in on the turn with an overbet and <20% draw, no implied odds. 9/10 times they hit, no joke. I can’t remember the last time I thought ya gotcha, it’s always “seriously… again…”
For me the most frustrating players are the ones that seem to always raise the ante, if you want to ante higher why not go to a table with a higher ante? I don’t like the all in about every hand either. I just write a note on them and when they log into a table I am at and they continue to all in or raise the ante every hand I just move to a different table.
I totally get it, but when your in a tourney, you don’t have that option. I wish we did, because this nonsense happens every day now.
This is the exact reason I do not play tourneys anymore. I used to love them, haven’t played in one in a long time.
I agree completely. Sadly this epidemic has crept into the 250k buy in tourney’s, like for me today.
It was easy to spot after awhile about this one player that would often all in preflop with mostly lousy cards. It was working somewhat since that player got me to fold some pretty good hands.
Finally I got a spot to call the player, the first one is six hands before they knocked me out in 38th. I checked, player wound up 34th, lol.
I love tourney’s perhaps I need to stick to 500k or better
Looks like the bingo players have crept up. I agree you need to go higher then. It’s a shame though.
Maybe we need to put “No Bingo Players allowed” in the title of these Freeroll tourneys. Probably won’t matter but it might make them hesitant to play that way when they sign up for a tourney.
All this does is just ruin the website unfortunately. They don’t care as they have absolutely no desire, skill or patience to learn to play properly, which means they will never achieve anything by playing the way they do. I enjoy sitting back and watching them get knocked out personally, it’s as guaranteed as seeing a city bus in a city.
