SWAG CONTEST: Happy birthday, Replay! Share what age you started playing poker for a shot at a swag or chips!

I was in junior high when I started playing Blackjack

I started playing at age 74, I had watched Texas Hold 'em on TV for a while and learned of Doyle Brunson Book on poker. I read the book a couple of time before I started playing and to tell the truth playing on this Replay Poker is entirely different than played on TV and most of the priciples in the book are not applid by the players on this site, including me…Thanks for the fun and pleasure of playing…never to old to learn

I was about 10

I began playing poker at the age of 24. I played at the same site for 35 years.

I started playing when I was about 55…Haven’t stopped playing since then…I just love it…

I started playing poker at the age of 12. My father would give us an allowance and then have a poker game to get it back from us.

I started playing poker when I was 27 years old. My husband was stationed in Cuba, living on the Navy base with little to do, we would have friends over on the weekends and played penny poker. lol. My husband taught me how to play. I lost all my 500 pennies the first time I played… lol. But we always had fun.

I started playing poker in my 40’s. My brother-in-law played with family and friends and we would play at his house on holidays. That was basic poker. But, I learned Hi/Lo on Replay and that is my favorite game. I love that there are two ways to score.

I started playing online poker at the behest of my baby brother in 2010 at the age of 65. He deposited my 1st tournament fee and I was hooked. Alas I don’t have his luck, he just took down a tournament at a Florida casino this past weekend, so I don’t play for real money.

I started to play poker around 18 years old with my friends in Montevideo - Uruguay , South America

I was 52 when I really learned to play Texas Hold ‘em with a group of friends and their college kids. I was pretty clueless at first but had a great time. I’ve been hooked on Hold ‘Em ever since!

When I was 5/6, my Dad was home sick and bored, so he taught me poker. No wild games. Later horse racing and freindly games at home with siblings. 1st trip to Vegas I was hooked on 21. I play poker all night at the local casinos (open 24 hrs.) blackJack for years. Am in my Golden Years and am an avid Gambler.
