How to Get Windows 11 for Your Compatible PC

Find out how to get Windows 11 from Microsoft. Check your PC’s compatibility against the system requirements to see if you can upgrade to Windows 11.

If your PC is not compatible, the options I am aware of are:)

  1. Install another operating system such as Linux
  2. Purchase a new PC at $400 up

My PC failed the test for the free upgrade, so I looked for a compact PC to clean up the desk and found a great alternative Mini PC with Window 11 Pro.

If anyone’s looking for this option, search for a Mini PC. There are many different manufacturers of them. I got a GMTtec 1 TB SSD / 16 GB Ram for about $190 and no more, big tower eyesore.

.. Or you can just keep using windows 10? end of support doesn’t mean it will stop working, it’s just that they’ll stop releasing updates (Bug fixes, improvements and most importantly security patches), the only risk is the latter, if you’re worried about your security i’d recommend simply installing an antivirus and practicing safe web surfing (avoid clicking unfamiliar links, shady ads, Phishing attemps..)

Windows 7 has ben out of support for years now and alot of people are still using it, heck some people still use Vista and XP!

Thanks, Do nothing is definitely another option for those willing to take the security risk. I would recommend running a good antivirus software as well, regardless of option chosen.

If anyone else has additional options or methods to deal with this issue, please leave comment’s/suggestions for us all.
