RPOS XII Chatter

LuvingIt still in the lead.

Snowman and Asuronetorius lurking close behind.

LuvingIt holds onto the lead

Gamb1t0 making a run for 1st

But it’s Pokerkid35, a longshot, a nose in front!

Pokerkid35, LovingIt, nose to nose!

LovingIt back in 1 ST just over 14K

With a burst, Gamb1t0 jumps into the lead with 16k

Snowman making a run in 2nd, LuvingIt in 3 RD,

Pokerkid35 slipping to 4 TH, then it’s Pos111, dasida a distant 6 TH, MCTosh 7 TH,

RazorB 8 TH, rcw333 9 TH, Asuronetorius 10 TH, and trailing the field is BuddhaPest at the

hour break.

I’d be happy if Gambit won it. I remember that player being rank #1 in the yearly rank MTT leaderboard one of the past recent years.

Gamb1t0 continues to make his run for glory 1 ST with 21K,

LuvingIt trying to keep up in 2 ND with 14K, rcw3333 living up to his name in 3 RD,

Pokerkid35 trying not to fade in 4 TH and MCTosh88 in 5 TH.

Asuronetorius is out of contention in 11 TH

BuddhaPest on on fumes in 10 TH

Snowman a surprising 9 TH with 5K now out of contention

Gamb1t0 flying on the grandstand side! This… is… Unbelievable!

Gamb1t0 stumbles and loses most of his lead!

Trying to hold on with luvingIt fighting back in 2ND, rcw3333 not surprisingly

holding 3 RD

Gamb1to turns on the afterburners 40K!

Holy smokes!

One of my picks still in …gooooo Poz

Pos is an easy pick…was TOC runner-up last year and has won all the Gemstone Leagues (so she knows how to crush all the NLH stakes).

Pleasantries are exchanged at the final table

I agree RyRy and am kinna onboard with Gamb1t0, all what was said

MCTosh88 out at 6 TH

Gamb1t0 sits out momentary in 1 ST

Then back at it.

rcw3333 takes over 2 ND sensing weakness, he lurks and bides his time

Pokerkid35 is out in 5 TH

Down to 4 players

A lot of cautious checking and Gamb1t0 pads his lead

dasIda still in it with aces loses a key hand to Pos111’s flush

dasIda, all jacked up, quad jacks his way to the lead!

Down the backstretch run, dasIda the leader, ripped through the quarter

in 22 and 2 fifth seconds, Gamb1t0 is right up on that hot pace,

then it’s rcw3333 running in 3 RD, no surprise there, Pos1111 is fourth

dasIda, a longshot, thunders to the lead with 60K!

rcw3333 and Pos1111 have about 17k and 14k respectively.

Gamb1t0 is out in 4 TH

Younguru and oleary123 are enjoying beers in the grandstands.

Pos111 is out in 3 RD

If we consider the RPOS TOC champion as an ambassador for the website (kinda like how the WSOP Main Event champ is a poker ambassador), I wish someone else had won it after witnessing everything being written in chat by our winner throughout the game. (Poor attitude and no class.) Gotta give the player credit, though, for winning the title and saying it would happen in the lobby chatbox days earlier. But still…SMH! That’s not how someone should act during a game of this importance.

I kinda agree but it also looked to me like he was just lightly sh!t-talking, then people got all serious and prickly so he doubled down and fired shots back.

Congrats to @daslda for a truly momentous victory!

Kudos to @Pos111 as well; 2nd last year and 3rd this year is immensely impressive in its own right

Wish I’d been able to play, I picked the worst time to take a last-minute tutoring session with my boss’ kid and just forgot the start time  it’s been a pleasure competing with you all in the series

Yeah the rail didn’t help the situation either.

Congrats on the win @daslda ! I bow to you as you do have something I coveted. Well played.

I will have to work hard and try hard again in a year’s time. (And make the easy laydown.)

Was a good, fun series, everybody. Glad to have “met” a bunch of you this year. You’ll see me around here and there occasionally (typically just Wednesdays & Thursdays)…mostly in the morning 1M’s, Funnel Web Burn (early morning 2.5M), a couple Out for Bloods (weekday 5M), and Over the Rainbow (250K). May try to go for some gemstone achievements (collect them all…currently got none but was 2nd in an Opal First 7 week one time…can only play enough to go for First 7 title…Best 7 not possible) to be like @Pos111 and play the other variants to upkeep those skills.

Not a hater, in my 42 years of playing poker, I have seen that record spun a thousand times, just not my cup of tea, for an important event for this community, that’s all, you played well and won congrats. Those that didn’t like it could easily choose the mute button, and play on.
Humans like to watch motorcycle races at the isle of man also, if you know what I mean
