I just lost to a Royal Flush when I had 4 Kings. How is that even possible? He would need a King of any suit to pull a Royal.

He did have a king. He had a king of diamonds same as you did.
If you knew it would happen like this you would have placed your bet earlier
This was a Royal game, not a NLHE hand!!!
even so, he gets his royal flush. even Omaha its a royal flush
I meant he shouldn’t be that surprised.
Just a bad beat I suppose. Seems to be a trend in here. lol
When there are only 20 cards in play all sorts of crazy things happen. Hard to think quads being the second nuts but they were here. Hard not to try and trap on the turn but he caught the one outer on the river. 100% you are going broke there as would anyone else. Shoot them a GG and think it is too bad Royal doesn’t give you the Bad Beat achievement.
I think that is probably the first time I have lost with quads ever.
Yeah…its all good. Thanks for the input. Hopefully I won’t see that happen again anytime soon lol. I used to play Royal in the casinos many years ago when it was still being offered and never witnessed anything like that. I wish it was still offered in Vegas,

It is Royal and that happens a lot—community cards:)
Yep. Another bad beat. I mean you can’t fold quads.
What makes it a bad beat to me is you didn’t have the Kd.
What did you think he was going all-in for if it wasn’t a Flush even with your Quads?
A Str8 in Royal is really weak.
Old news. Carry on…
