Alvin Lee was my first ‘guitar hero’ as a kid. I got to see him shortly after he went solo. What a thrill. During a break I spotted him having a cig behind his amps and being a guitar player wanted to go talk with him but was afraid I’d get rushed by bodyguards or management.
Wish I was older and bolder then as I am now. 
Back in my school days a girlfriend I had would always be lugging a pile of 45’s along to all the parties and dances. I remember she always had this one and the next one. And a Tommy James one.
