Replay partnering with Casino.org

I just went on casino.org and I could not even find poker on the free stuff. (I am guessing that I will be leaving on-line poker when the switch happens.) I have really enjoyed replay poker over the years and I will miss all the friends that I have made if I have to stop playing. Good luck everyone.

In case you haven’t located it, a lot of the questions are answered here:

Announcing a new partnership between Replay Poker and Casino.org!

Please be specific, these vague generalities really do not mean anything.

After a quick look at casino dot org it seems to me that it is all about steering people to gambling sites and casinos. Replay is neither. I cannot find any free online poker only free video poker (play against a computer not other people). I will admit my visit to the site was fairly quick but the fact is that I could not quickly and easily find what I wanted (free online poker NOT connected to a gambling (real money) site).

I would like to know specifically what the plan is for how my player experience is going to improve. Someone surely has to have some vision as to what they hope to accomplish for us players. Will all the glitches and hiccups stop? Will we start seeing some of the requested changes / improvements to the interface? to the tables? Please share with us some specifics.

I’m wondering if you’ve answered part of your question. Adding Replay to their site would provide free online poker.

Per the announcement and Q&A

  • Once we’ve had time to better integrate with their site, it will open up new resources for us to improve your site experience, including launching more features, additional games, and more!

Can you be more specific about what features will be added in the future?

Not yet – just as we typically don’t share this information until it’s closer to being ready. But it’s our goal to add things like tournament improvements and bomb pots (these are just examples, not confirmed yet!).

Its always about the money and we all know how chasing the money works out for the end user. Im really considering bailing myself. Anyone buying chips needs to stop doing that ASAP.

100% this

I think we better just wait and see. I’d hate to see my friends on Replay start to jump ship only to find it was no big deal after all. Cautious optimism, I guess? Cautious neutrality? shrug emoji

I will say that I do not plan to jump ship and will keep an open mind. In my work experience, I was part of an division at a major company that was sold to another company. The announcement was full of positive vibes to keep everyone from being concerned. (unspecific language intentional) After about 6 months a lot changed. After absorbing the divisions contracts and cutting benefits, no one felt that they were better off (except the buyers of the division). We were sold 3 other times all with similar experiences. Being skeptical is a healthy response to such a shocking revelation.

I’ve only been on Replay for about 6 months and felt that this was one of the best online experiences I’ve encountered! I seriously hope for the best. The die has aparently been cast, so let the “chips fall where they may”.(had to end with a pun  )

Not so sure now, the more we read, and questions asked is this a positive move. Replay has already said many nations will be blocked. So, is Replay sacrificing players in hopes of gaining new players from this new venture. I like the players we have now and hasn’t Replays growth been amazing this last year. Ok, need to take a heart pill and chill.

This is the end of Replay, which will be lost among all the boo boo casino.org offers. It’s been nice playing with all of you, better start saying your goodbyes while you can. I’ve seen this happen with a number of online games I used to play, it’ll all be dead within a month of transferring.

In today’s politically correct environment, I can’t say what my manager said beck when we were sold/transferred/“partnerships’ed” with others. Basically it was when company is sold, the employees go with it.

I am not leaving now, I will wait and see. Hopefully the site will still be viable to me and I will continue to play. I really hope so because I will miss it if I don’t play.

Someone had to say this eventully. A group of community players had no clue what was happening, until it was a done deal. I’m going to stay silent from now on and see what the end result is.

I can only say that moves or manipulations towards moving people towards real money gambling is not a healthy thing in my opinion, but nothing ever last forever

Agreed - and if you play around on casino dot org it becomes pretty clear that’s it’s primary purpose. It’s a funnel to online casinos first and foremost.

@fizzymint Can you please direct me to the FAQ referred to in your post?

I can’t find it. Thanks
