Missed several weeks this year (as usual) because I coach high school tennis in the spring. But that’s okay…finally achieved my first state title in my 13th year of coaching!! Sprinkled around that…I chose to pursue all 5 gemstone league titles this calendar year (most of which won’t up the bankroll much, except for the opal one). Today, I can happily say that I snatched the 5th and final gem (opal) tonight winning both the First 7 and Best 7 leaderboards. So, the gemstone master goal has been achieved. (I believe @Lelaina got her 5th and final one (sapphire) this week, too. So, we both completed the set in the same week.) Best part was that it only took me like 1-3 tries (i.e., weeks) to get each one. I figured it was going to take a lot longer than that, especially since I’m not used to stakes (and the subsequent metas and field sizes you see) below 250K.
And with my recent opal success, I have surpassed the 900 million mark and will probably now pursue that intended 1 billion milestone by getting back to a regular biweekly grind of the morning to early afternoon nosebleed MTT’s (500K to 5M) before RPOS comes around in September or October. (There might be an occasional 6-Max SnG, too.)

I was in the 2nd place of the Best 7 leaderboard for several days, but a 2nd place in a field of 109 brought enough points to take 1st yesterday.

I had the other 3 for some time already and managed to get the 2 missing ones (2.5k and 7.5k) within a total of 3 weeks. Missed the first week by around 1000 points or so, last week I won the 2.5k and now the 7.5k.
And it was VERY satisfying to remove all of those games from the fav list
And now to go on working on the BR (that took quite a hit in between).
Yeah…I too have deleted most of the gemstone events from my hold’em favorites filter after winning each league. I have decided to keep 1 MTT each (out of 8) from Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, and Diamond that are to my liking (whether it be for structure or gimmicks). I am keeping 3 of the 8 Opal events.
But it’s time to go back to the high stake events that are colored white on the lobby page.

Update on my goal of reaching 100M by year end:) After loosing a few million recently, my goal is still achievable. I am at 85,000,000, halfway there in 6 months.
