Resolutions

With about three weeks to go, it’s time to start thinking about our New Year’s Resolutions for Poker! Any thoughts for 2021 in this arena?

  1. Don’t go broke in a limped pot.

  2. Call less, bet more.

  3. Great hands play themselves, get better at playing marginal hands.

  1. Play more in larger buy in games and tournaments. I finally started doing this a bit more recently playing more SnG’s & MTT’s with buy in’s from 2,500 to 5,000. I’m hoping in 2021 to move more into Medium / High stake games.

  2. Build up my bankroll more quickly by winning those SnG’s / MTT’s.

  3. Play more aggressive and bet more and call less especially in situations where I’m pretty confident I have the best hand but normally just call rather than raise. I think I just need to build up more confidence and not doubt myself.
