Hi players. I have played on many tables against many players. I always wondered how those players came up with their poker names. So, the question is, how did you come up with your poker names? Mine is obvious. I am a pilot and hence the name “Pilot704”. I look forward to seeing all the different responses.

my player’s name is not special… kind of self-explanatory… but I do run a team in the barn yard muckers league… called the Cobra Chickens… aka the Canadian Goose… because… I wanted to be the Toughest critter in the Barn Yard…

I teach pop line dancing, and a grapevine is one of the basic line dance moves. Nothing to do with “I heard it on the grapevine “.

Excalibur Technologies was my first stock I profited from way back in the 1990’s
If I remember correctly, I followed Paul Allen and he had a hand in Excalibur Technologies.
Then Convera was formed in December 2000 by the merger of Intel’s Interactive Services and Excalibur Technologies Corporation.
The early days of Stockhouse bullboards in the 1990’s I used Excaliburns to post.
One guy had a monthly stock contest and I remember picking Apple Computer for a few months. I didn’t win the contest with that pick. You’d think I would, but the percentage rise wasn’t much back then if any. It didn’t start moving up until about 2010 or so.

My first Email account (yes it was dial up lol) I made for the online MBA at Southwest University of Kenner, LA, I was working on. It brought me luck there so hence the handle of Southwestmba lives on.

My screen name Litenin originated many years ago, during my racing days. Back in the day, from the Great State of Alabama, we tended to mispell words intentionally such as (Lightnin) lol. Don’t realy have a Poker handle and probably will never be a Poker Pro either, cuz I hope to continue to learn the game forever

Mine has nothing to do with the 8 card. My family and I have been creating snow sculptures since 1996, thus I chose the name “_snowman_”. Added the underscores since snowman was already taken, Visit our website at Marshall’s Snowart. I use many of our snowart pictures as my avatars.

Back in the day when I signed up, I was thinking saying that I have the best hand, known as “The Nuts” of course. I tried several different versions/spellings, all of which failed since it said that was already taken, until TheKnutts worked, has been my moniker since.

Air Traffic Controller signature. First letter of first name R= Romeo. First letter second name B= Bravo. Always signed off by saying Romeo Bravo. Added 1506 for my barracks # in Viet Nam, Shortened to RBravo1506

I’ll shoot you a friend’s request Pilot… would love to talk cobra chickens w/ you… barn yard muckers games last for 3.mo at a time… quarterly games… my Cobra Chickens have taken 1st place 3 times… and lost by 6 points last quarter still took 2nd out of 10 teams
… we have only had one bad quarter inn 2 years
