Players being spoon fed wins in sit n go tournament

Just got done playing a sit n go tournament, came in 3rd and lost 2nd place to some jackwagon that just turned around and folded every blind over to the other player to give him the win. Don’t know if there is anything in the rules against this, if not there should be!

so I just checked and it is in the rules. .It’s called Collusion. So who would I report this too? Players names were MOONLDGAFFER and PainterPat. You can even see this Collusion happening in their most recent hands.

Those hands can’t show collusion. That would be 2+ players conspiring against others, but there’s only those two left.

In a ring game, it could be chip dumping - one player giving unearned chips to another - except you just don’t get dealt hands when sitting out in ring games.
That’s what is happening here BTW - one player just sat out. They might have thought they were unlikely to win and were happy with 2nd, might have had something come up that meant they couldn’t keep playing. Whatever the reason, you can’t really make a rule against that.

The same thing happened to me on an SNG a couple of days ago where it was down to the last three and in this instance, in my opinion, the player sitting out was just using this as a ploy as he had far more chips than myself or the other player so maybe if he had been in the game the outcome could have been different

This has also happened on other occasions where I may have had the chance of winning a place had it not been for the sit-out

It certainly doesn’t seem fair that a player can win ‘by default’ while the other players are actively playing the hands and maybe they should be excluded once it gets to the final table
