On a misty cold February night the crows gathered the owls screamed there was murder in the air. 28 warriors gathered to meet with the reaper. @DeathPoker had bided his time but tonight it was his night. @maweilen had no fear as she faced him down but finished 2nd, @Rgcrest fought valently adding a 3rd to his earlier victory, and @southwestmba survived just long enough to reach Valhalla in 4th But tonight no one was going to deny @DeathPoker his crown (and his ticket to the Tournament of Champions.) was a hard fought and very dynamic game well done all.

Tuesday night 20 warriors came to work to play a game of Omaha hi lo. Tonight wasn’t a night for defending champions but it was a night for past champions. Joe @Excaliburns was first Norris @_snowman was fouth joined by Dennis @DONKIHOTA and Mike @xNEMESISx in 2nd and 3rd. @_Rain tried hard and was the bubble boy and I got felled by a @timbershot37 in a naval battle. Great fun and thank you for your patenince I need to get some shuteye.

Friday night. 28 warriors gathered to play some Texas Hold’em and celebrate the coming of the weekend. Card were dealt and chips changed hands. As the games raged on four rose above the rest this evening. @chipraker2000 distinguished himself doing the Gus Hanson arm flex and sweeping up all the chips for first, 1q24 champion @MrFish68 swan upstream and lept over the raging falls for 2nd. @DenaliD fought off a grizley bear with a loose leaf notebook for 3rd, and @DeathPoker listened to some Iron Maiden Live after Death (Scream for me Long Beach!!) and found solice in 4th. A fun night, though a few may have had a few too many but that is what Frday is all about. Cheers!!

Saturday a day to work in the yard dig in the dirt watch the tulips already pooing up despite it being 15F this morning. With dirt under our nails and fresh air in our lungs 18 warriors pulled up a seat for some Omaha Hi Lo. What we lacked in numbers we made up for in intensity. The final 5 staged a massive back and forth. @Bradspam held on strong before finishing 5th, @_Rain played a massive hand with @JohnDaWalka only leaving him short and on the road to 4th, @Excaliburns was like a duck smooth above the surface but paddling like a mad fowl below the surface making clutch play after clucth play to finish 3rd, @JohnDaWalka was the class of the field but finished second after a huge heads up hand went @southwestmba way. Very fun game. Round 2 in 30 minutes

9:00 PM EST only the best of the best dare show up and 28 warriors rose to the challenge. Guns a blazing as Cowboys won as did a few wild ducks. After 2 hours a Magnificent 7 were still standing ready to defend the final assult. 7 hired guns (ironically @gunslinger13 wasn’t one of them tonight) @jdawg09 was always calm and tactical striking at the best moments and walked off the field oif battle in 1st. @Nebulos seemed headed for his 4th win of the quarter but this dawg can play some serious heads up and he had to settle for 2nd, @Bradspam showed cats can fight just as hard and clawed to 3rd despite saying goodbye three times lol, and A ghost named @_Rain never came back after the break but finished 4th. @BluffingBride , @Zarcon411 , and @DONKIHOTA should take a bow as well. I had a blast just watching after being the first at the final table to get eliminated. Learned alot. Awesome game!!

Those 2 hands made me chip leader and I ran quite well until I ran into a bad beat and after that it all fell apart. I don’t have the link because by then I was multi-tabling.
