As an organizer of this league sometimes it can be hard to put aside the competitive side and just marvel at the incredible players who make up this league. When I can do that I learn so much, how to apply a big stack, how to trap, how to steal (my) BBs, and how to bounce back from a tough hand. I got to watch the final 6 battle and it was a treat. @abahog was a master of patience and aggression and once he built a huge stack with pocket Js, he applied the pressure for the win, @dmcubano would lie in waiting only to pounce upon her victims with lighting aggression and finished 2nd, @_snowman was running so hot he needed to take a break and head to the freezer only to return and battle to 3rd, @RavenL the model of discipline play and tactics made her way to back to back ITM finishes and 4th places, and @DONKIHOTA followed up Friday night’s win with another ITM finish for 5th. Honorable mention @Weedwoman420 battled hard following up her win earlier tonight with a bubble in the nightcap in 6th. Getting knocked out early can be a good thing. Getting to ride the rails was a blast. Congrats all

Tuesday night and the contenders took to the ring for a game of skill. 29 warriors fought and clawed their way for a shot at the belt. The final fight was Balboa and Mr T, throwing thunderous blows and showing pure heart as Rocky @_snowman Balboa was the last one on his feet defeating Dennis Mr T @DONKIHOTA in a knock down drag out heads up. Appollo Creed aka @DenaliD trained Rocky on the way to 3rd, and Thunderlips @Floppasaurus body slammed his way to 4th. And that poor blind tiger (@southwestmba) finished on the bubble. Great game tonight fun and hard fought

Valhalla’s chosen!! A strong group of 32 warriors joined together for a spirit game on a cold December’s night. Little did we know what a treat we would be in store for. Head’s up two warriors battled for 42 minutes and 88 heart pounding hands. @jujube and @DenaliD lit the night up with fireworks and a few lucky rivers before Julie finally prevailed with a two pair 7& 6 over Evans 77 with an Ace kicker. @DLstout and @rgcrest staged an epic battle to the final four and were involved in the hand of the night with julie and a double knockout. A warriors death going out in a blaze of glory. And in 5th was our host and founder @_Rain who quietly waded thru the battle before striking out of nowhere. Spectacular game tonight.

@jujube it was an honor to clash swords tonight. Yet, only one can claim the title and well deserved. Always fun to get heads up however mine seem to run extremely long and have me reaching for backup supplies.
@DLstout and @rgcrest great game, @_Rain & @southwestmba always make it a great place to play on Replay.
ok enough with the niceties…DAMMIT that 6 on the river was so wrong yet it makes a great story!!
