Low Probability Events

352,327 hands played and I saved 531

I don’t want to beat this to death but how do you keep track like you have done?

Click the arrow next to your profile picture on the main page

Click hands

Look to the left and click “Saved Hands”

Then you can rummage through them all looking for the quad winners.

The pairs:
Pair 1 = 2-2, Pair 2 = 3-3 … A-A = 12
Pair 1 = 3-3, Pair 2 = 4-4 … A-A = 11

Pair 1 = K-K, Pair 2 = A-A = 1

12 + 11 + … + 1 = 78

6 different suites for a pair.

Card 5 is one of 44 (48 - the 4 cards who make the board to a fullhouse)

78 x 6 x 6 x 44 = 123,552

Of course, I was still counting having AA then KK and KK then AA, thanks!

13 x 12 / 2 = 78

Interesting. Honestly, I’ve never saved a hand, but I do know how, thanks for the info.

I’m sure there are players out there that never use the Replay function

on Replay.

You are not alone.

Always a certain percentage never bother.

Possibly, the fringe element like the people headed towards

Baskin Robbins 31 flavors and always order vanilla.

These can possibly qualify for low probability events!

Almost in order, too

The odds of hitting two grand slams in a single inning are astronomically low estimated at around 12 million to 1. < Ballpark figure of course.

This feat has only been achieved once in Major League Baseball history, by Fernando Tatis on April 23, 1999.

He hit both grand slams in the same inning off the same pitcher, Chan Ho Park, making it an even more extraordinary event.

Mine That Bird (foaled May 10, 2006) is a champion American Thoroughbred racehorse who won the 2009 Kentucky Derby at 50-1 odds

Mine That Bird won by an impressive 6 ¾ lengths, the largest margin in over 60 years!

The track was rated as sloppy (sealed) for the 2009 Kentucky Derby. The wet conditions contributed to Mine That Bird’s stunning upset victory, as Calvin Borel navigated the muddy track with ease.

Five biggest Kentucky Derby longshot winners ever

As we witnessed in 2022 when Rich Strike won at 80-1 odds, nothing is certain in horse racing. The winning horse is not always the best horse. In a field of 20, a bit of racing luck makes for a better chance to win. The five biggest longshots to ever win the Derby include:

  1. Donerail, 91-1 (1913)
  2. Rich Strike, 80-1 (2022)
  3. Country House, 65-1 (2019)
  4. Mine That Bird, 50-1 (2009)
  5. Giacomo, 50-1 (2005)

Rich Strike is the second-biggest longshot to have won the Kentucky Derby after Donerail (91:1 odds) in 1913.[4] He was not in the field until Ethereal Road was scratched the day before, with Rich Strike being added from the also-eligible list for the Derby.[5][6] Owner Richard Dawson found out about the change just 30 seconds before the deadline.[7]

His career numbers 14 races 2wins, 1 place, 3 shows, $2.4 million earned for a horse purchased for $17,000
