Losing the will to live (Or at least play)

If you don’t re raise the raise against a known aggressive player you are doomed for failure.

U would love playing me

You read like you’ve had a almost as many beers as I have StudentBluff
To back you up though, even though motif is clearly just clicking the pot/half pot buttons (so the bet sizes might not be perfect), they play both of those hands correctly. A dry ace high board should be c-bet almost all the time by the pre-flop aggressor.
@Nikkiw You’ve build a pretty good stack in a fairly short amount of time, but I think you’re too focused on the actual chip values in these hands, and should be playing lower stakes. You’re clearly capable of folding after putting money in the pot, which will help you go a long way, but you need to have the bankroll to be able to try things out and gamble sometimes as well IMHO.
Don’t give up though. It’s actually easier to construct ranges for your opponents once they stop limping and start playing more aggressively early on in hands. (Not if they’re aggro with any 2 cards obviously, but you’ll print against those players in the long run anyway)

Don’t give up that easily , just take a break for a while if anything.
and also you need to keep notes on how they play, doesn’t mean you will win every hand but, gives you a much better chance when you do play them again.
I find that keeping notes helps a lot.
you just have to learn how those particular opponents play , then your wins will be much better,
not saying you won’t get busted out but, does help.

Sorry, I’m afraid I have to agree with Nikki…This is not a place for her to relax and play a fun game. First it is a FREE PLAY MONEY game , and since the ban on US players in most states playing real money…anything goes in this one. The only answer to this aggression poker is patience and clearly, Nikki you can’t function in that atmosphere right now. Quit beating yourself up and go do something you enjoy

yup but for different reasons.

I agree!!!

Sometimes you just land up on the wrong table. If you are not happy on that table just move to another table until you find a table that you enjoy with maybe less aggressive player I do not mean go find a table where you will win but rather enjoy.Move around the tables there is no shame in that because many players do that. Enjoy your Poker win or lose

Remember that rule of thumb: When your opponents are loose, play tight (and vice versa).

Those players are annoying, but they are also golden opportunities. Think of how hard it is sometimes to get other people to fill the pot with money when you are holding the nuts? These guys insist on making it easy!

You have the advantage of knowing that they are playing some very poor hands, just don’t fall into the trap of thinking that you can beat them with a poor hand.

Think of them as a double up in progress, and hope they are still around when it’s your turn to get all in with the best of it.

Dear,
We all work hard to win money. Why? Because we have fun spending it.
In this case, if I cannot have fun spending it, why not have fun… earning it.
Some people play JUST to piss you off. Bored, frustrated, or just wanna blow some steam. This isn’t real money. Chill, neither one of us will ever be on TV playing the
sharks. Enjoy what we never had at your age: anytime, you can find people to play
poker with. Isn’t that Grand? It’s just a card game, and anything with dice or cards
envolves a lot of luck. Just sit down in front of your computer and p l a y.

There is no way you can compare poker to dice. In Poker there is skill involved. Dice ? Well my 8 year old grandson Been throwing them around since he’s been 2. No skill there….

Nikki, Ringing in here late. I understand the frustration. What you have to understand is the way certain people play or “win”. Since I’e started playing here, I’ve really evolved into learning what sites and games and tourneys have what kinds of players.

Do some exploring. I found myself in a pretty high stakes tourney where everyone was checking and betting small pots. I’m saying, “W-T-F?” And I realize this community has been playing this way for quite a while. At least I recognize (better) who is at the table

Hope this helps.
