The new ACHIEVEMENTs reward active players, not necessarily skilled players, which is what most veterans of the game seem to find annoying in their posts.
It appears to be relatively easy to achieve all four levels in a short period of time, because of the “participatory” nature of the badges…
Top-up at the bank
Play one hand
Play a tournament
Play a single opponent
Join an MTT during late registration
Play an MTT in which your are the first player to register
While REPLAY surely can’t be faulted for trying to attract new players and encourage existing players to become more active, more “skills-based” badges need to be added, so as to recognize the many elite players that already populate this site…
Beat X number of higher rank players in a Tournament X number of times
Place in the Top 3 in a Tournament X number of times in a row
Win X number of hands in a row on a given day or in a given week, month or year
Win with 7 or more different hand ranks in a Tournament X number of times
Place in the top 3 in a Tournament without folding X number of times
Finish in all 1st - 12th places in x number of Tournaments
Win a Showdown against any player who’s holding a Straight or Better X number of times
Win a Showdown with only a High Card against 2 or more players X number of times
Bet or raise in every betting round of a hand and win the pot X number of times
Win a showdown against a player who’s holding pocket Aces X number of times
With a few additional tweaks to ACHIEVEMENTs, REPLAY will continue to attract new players, encourage stagnant players to become more active, and recognize great players with better metrics.

We will definitely be looking at improving this new feature along the way. This will be done through your ideas, suggestions and feedback. You may expect more achievements and badges in the future, including some that will require some more advanced poker skills, dedication to the game, experience and performance consistency (i.e. Leaderboards, RPOS titles, repeated performances, performance across different game types and poker variants…).
don’t think this levels make any sense as it seems to go in all different directions and does not focus on a players playing skill whatsoever…suggest a skill oriented achievement level and give chips away for it…only a handful of current levels can be useful and add some more…I have achieved level 50 but really most of it was or 90% has nothing to do with skill…make something bankable,chip oriented…just saying…jazz
Curious as to why The Devil achievement doesn’t trigger off of a 4 of a kind of 6’s. I got lucky to be dealt pocket 6’s, thinking “Great, now I can get this achievement” and slow played to ensure a showdown… Only to be dealt a 4th 6 on the river. In my personal opinion, trip 6’s is a really random hand and hard to come across anyway. I personally feel any hand involving trip 6’s (full houses included) should trigger the achievement.
@jazzbythebay - We agree with you on having something associated with skill. One thing we’re considering is changing up your rank to relate more to skill rather than it just being what your stack currently is.
@im_a_dog - Although I’m behind, I want more levels, too! That’s likely something we’ll end up adding.
@jordaneloge - Good point on The Devil achievement. It’s only three sixes because of the association with the devil, but we can take a look at it. The full house with triple sixes is an excellent point.
thank you for your reply…im just curious as to truly know how does one move up in the rankiings…ive heard different stories or facts so to so but not sure how it works…I was told if you buy chips ( a lot of them you will rank easily in the top 500, do ring game wins carry more weight than tourney wins if you win the same or vice versa?
to be honest I’m completely grey in this area as you pointed out in our discussion rank is based on skill level so then I guess buying chips is ruled out…i think it would be nice to have a clear cut guideline when you propose to have a clear cut ranking system…thank you for all the efforts…rgds jazzz
Right now ranks isn’t based on skill … it’s on total chips in bank , so at this time buying chips will increase your rank . Replay has plans in the future to base it on skill level rather than chip amount .

@jazzbythebay - @SharonSmarty has it right. Rank is solely determined by your stack right now, but we plan to improve that. So, you’re right in that if you buy chips, your rank will go up, or even if you build up many daily bonuses and never play, which is why we want to change it to something more skill-based.
@wildrenee - Sorry for the delay! I wasn’t able to look it up since our back-end was a bit wonky yesterday from the outage. You certainly should have received that achievement, so I just manually awarded it to you.
@KySnakeByte - Get to working!! Just kidding, 50 is the max level right now, though we have plans in the works to add more soon.
FYI, due to overwhelming feedback, we’ve turned off the ATM achievement. That was the one you’d get for topping up if you were under 500 chips. Many players were upset since they had so much in their bank, they’d likely never get it. If you notice a missing achievement, that’s the one! We may end up doing something different for that one instead, just gotta figure it out.
Going to list my ideas for achivement… You don’t have to use them. Just ideas I had
Egg achievement “Crack That Egg” when you crack a good hand like AA or KK by using crappy cards like 9, but there are 9’s in the middle, so you get triple, or four of a kind.
Raisin Bran achievement, you say, it’s a delicious bowl of raisin bran, when you win by raising (putting more money) and they fold
Banana Split when both people have same hand like 9-10 and 9-10, and they have to cut the money in half, because it’s called Split Pot
Nice Guy, when soenone on there says thanks because you compliment them
Smokin’ when you play p oker like normal but you do cigs, pipe or joint (only where legal) when you are playing. The computer can’t tell but if you type “smoking” in chat it gives you the achievement.
Poker Animal only for people hwo have dog, cat or lion (or bird, etc) in their name. Only works if you have animal name so for example, BigBob would have to change name to BirdBob, XYZ123 would change name to XYZebra123, etc to get the bonus
Thinker Award this gives you 1,000,000 free chips if you come up with lots of good achievement ideas
