I find the whole leaderboards thing very confusing. I kept seeing mention of “leaderboards” but It took me ages to actually find where the leaderboards were, and considering that, I only expected to find something that was half-cocked.
I was pleasantly surprised by the sophistication of the leaderboard, the auto-refresh, the styling and design etc.
I think the leaderboards should be its own section as a link on the header and not hidden away in multi-layered dropdowns in the promotions section. Even better yet, whatever leaderboards you have a position in could be on your dashboard. Even though I know where the leaderboards are now, there’s a lot, the names are confusing and I have no idea which leaderboards I may have a position in without flicking through them all.
There’s clearly a lot of work gone in to the leaderboards and it’s a shame they’re not more assessible.
Having the leaderboards front and center as opposed to tucked away would 10000% encourage more engagement from people. I am sure there are many people like me who had no idea there were leaderboards, and even if they did, where they were. People constantly seeing their position may entice them to defend or improve it.

I do not pay attention to them, but for those that do, this makes sense.
I’m a huge fan of this suggestion! The MTT Annual leaderboard is my #1 motivation to play here. I didn’t learn about this until later, too. I would love for this feature to be more prominent and motivate more friendly competition/engagement.

It’s been mentioned before, but why do the stud games not get a leaderboard?

Before they redesigned the layout there was a direct tab on the promotions page for the public leagues and leaderboards which did make them much easier to find. Putting a tab on the dashboard would be an option too.
I do believe they are working on making a 7 card stud leaderboard (talked about in another thread for how to increase interest in 7 card stud). Since stud is the newest game on the site they haven’t made a leaderboard yet but I have made the same suggestion and it would fuel interest. I got into Omaha and Omaha Hilo thanks to a leaderboard and now its my favorite game.

Yes indeed, and thanks to our friend Rob, @Chasetheriver mentioned, there should be a leaderboard for stud games. I’m sure it takes time to set it up and feel very good, that it will happen.

Agree 100 % and thank you for your post
OK starting next month I will compete with you on SnG @Pkrhontas!

Fantastic points you’ve made here. The leaderboards are quite special and should be front and center as stated. I can’t think of a reason why they aren’t more accessible besides something technical. I actually have some important thoughts about my personal experience to help demonstrate the urgency of this request, especially for newer players feeling out the site …
“Addiction” is a word I’ve seen used by so many to describe what they think about Replay poker, and the reason I use the same word is the leaderboards.
Replay clearly put a lot of thought into how they function, and sort of tie the player, the games, and the events, to a very deeply established community. This is the “addiction”.
There’s just something about seeing your name on a list (high up or not), along with all these other names of strangers as well as friends, and then seeing them at a table … Something clicks in your brain, and it’s like “Game on.” This has led to friendships (and rivalries) of people from across the world within the Replay community that I can’t begin to describe, including my own.
If players miss or are missing this part of the initial Replay experience because they weren’t aware, IMO it’s a loss. It’s a BIG loss. Leaderboard tab on the headers. Do it Replay
Shoutout to @Younguru, one of top players on Replay Poker, who’s name I would see all over the tops of the leaderboards when I was new, developed a fear of him, and is now a friend I talk to almost every day regardless of poker.
