Lack of Preflop play

I hear you. Personally I won’t touch anything below 5/10k for ring or 100k for MTTs. Sometimes I’ll play a smaller MTT to join a friend. Otherwise, it’s a NO for me, dawg.

Honestly I’ve found the same frustrations but the reality is that if you don’t play poker for money, you’re never going to get a good standard of play. Generally, I’ve found that playing raise first in or fold preflop has been advantageous on this website, but if you want solid pre-flop play, even micro cash or tournies on sites like GG or Pokerstars are in another league to Replay (provided you’re allowed to gamble online where you are, I know it’s tricky in the States).

Good play can be found on Replay in the Final Table stage of tournaments 500k and up. Not always, but sometimes. I had a 4-person FT stage this week in a 1M buy-in MTT that was pretty much GTO all around. Lots of folding, almost no limping, positional play and the occasional 3bet with a condensed range.
