I’d love to see invite buttons in the tournament lobbies, both in the sit and go and MTTs. As it is, I need to find the player, go to their table, invite them, etc. I think it would be a great way to increase participation!

I totally agree! I was one of the original players that suggested invites, however i intended the idea to be used for SNG & MTT, and not for ring games. Its already very easy to find friend/s & join ring games. Its more laborious & tedius to get friends to join SNG & MTT or join them - finding the lobby, copy link, open messages, write & send PM, now wait…
I think replays BROADCAST spamming in chat trying to get players to join is not very effective and as mentioned by many players many times is irritating. Having friends invite friends seems like a great idea and affective way to increase participation IMO. Also offer the option to turn off invites or limit invites to players online.
Another idea i have entertained is offering a small bonus like 25 chips for getting a friend to join SNG/MTT similar to endorsements. Limit the invites to 5 or 10 maybe refund invite after SNG/MTT starts.

I passed on your suggestion to have the invite feature available for tournaments, and not just ring games. If this is approved though, we cannot guarantee that you will be seated with friends as tables are rebalanced randomly. In the meantime, you can send the tournament lobby to friends, so they can also register.
I also informed the Team that there is more demand for the option to mute broadcast chat. If you have any more suggestions, please let us know. Good luck at the tables!
The invite button would be very good on private tables too, owners wrote me this. Much better than stopping many times playing and getting kicked from table for writing invite messages.

Hi Mama! Tx and I hope it brings lots more activity to your tournaments. I think it would work best for the sng tourneys as these start at random times but would be a great add-on the the MTT features as well.

My point was to contast & compare BROADCASTS Vs invites! Muting BROADCASTS is what the players & community wants, and has already been covered extensively already!
BROADCASTS are innefective and they negatively affect a players experience and enjoyment on the site all to achieve a possible small increase in participation for RP.
For the record, i have low to zero interest in MTT. So BROADCASTS are affective specifically for me 1 in a million or billion. If im bored enough and want to torture myself playing an MTT ill look at the lobby to find a game that suits, Im never clicking on SPAM BROADCASTS that flood the chat and ruin my playing experience.
INVITES:
I have interest in playing w friends! A while back i joined a friend in mtt bc they happened to be playing. Often we play ring together on weekends. An invite would have been nice and easier.
More recently i was playing w 3 other friends in ring. Someone suggested a Royal mtt. We jumped in and i had to try to invite two other new friends unfamiliar w the site. An invite would have been nice and helpful…
IMO invites are more fun, engaging and would increase participation.
