Welcome to the International Team Cup

The International Team Cup is a Team Poker League ideally consisting of 14 teams with 3 players in each team (plus a reserve or 2 if desired).

The League Season will consist of 26 Holdem tournaments with each team playing
every other team twice. At the end of the Season there will be a semi final and a Grand Final to determine the overall winner.

Tournaments will be played every Monday at 5pm ET (10pm UK) time.

Team Play will be in the same style as played in the Team Play Poker and Dream Team Leagues. In this Team Poker League it’s Team A versus Team B on 1 table. The object of the game is for you and your team mates to stay in the game and be the last players left - as points are awarded to each player in the order of elimination. The longer you stay in the game the more points you score. The team who has the most points at the end is the winner. This is a full on team game involving team tactics: team first (helping your team mates stay in the game) and individuals second.

Teams should be loosely geographically based - state or country or continent or something close to that : for example USA east, USA west, America’s, UK, Europe, Asia or even Southern Hemisphere ( there aren’t many players down south).

WE ONLY HAVE ROOM FOR 14 TEAMS

Although it could be fun having geografically based teams I must add that it´s not a rule. We accept it can be a challenge :slight_smile:

ATTENTION ALL PLAYERS - THE COMPETITION COMMENCES ON MAY 4TH 2020

SO HERE’S WHAT YOU ALL NEED TO DO :-

1: Make sure you are registered. To do this just open your Replay profile and click on the

“Leagues Panel” button which is located next to the “Edit Profile” button and make sure it shows

The International Team Cup. If it doesn’t please let LadyCon know.

2: Consult with your Team Captain and ensure that you are selected to play in the next tournament.

Maximum 3 players from each team.

3: If you look at the Cup Lobby you will see the tournaments are Marked Table 1 - Table 7.

Before each Tournament consult the Tournamnet Schedule to see who you are playing and on which

table. Click this link for full tournament schedule

4 . Make sure you register on the correct Table please. Make sure your team does not already have 3 players registered.

5. ENJOY YOUR MATCH

6. After the Match can the Winning Team Captain please post the results in the Replay Chat.

7. Nominated Reserves - MCcats is an official floating “Nominated Reserve” so if you know you will be a player short please contact her, 1st in best dressed.

Anyone else interested in being a Reserve please let us know.

  1. We really hope you don’t stuff it up but if you do, for example an extra player registers or whatever, Tables 6 and 7 are programmed to start 30 minutes later and can be used as emergency replacement tables. So if it’s all stuffed up, sit out and restart on a new table.
