Goodbye, Pokerking
Though I never knew you at all
You had the balls to call yourself
The greatest one of all

Then you got dealt 78 off
Missed the flop and shoved all in
And you got busted
Threw a million chips into the wind

And it seems to me you lived your life
Like a candle in the wind
Running your mouth like a big boy
Playing it up to the end

And we never got to know you
But you were just a kid
Your candle burned out long before
Your legend ever did
Yeah our patience burned out long before
Your legend ever did

:candle: :sob:

Both gamergirl and El-Jogador have vanished from the site at the same time. One should wonder why.

I can’t bring myself to laugh at another player’s misfortune, so I won’t be piling on in this one.

You mentioned Brunson’s Super System, which, though dated, is still worth a look. Although it’s been nearly 20 years since I read it, I remember that it was my first introduction to the psychological implications of big bet no limit poker.

I also remember that Brunson said he went broke at least 3 or 4 times in his poker career. Everyone encounters downswings, the great ones find ways to climb back to the top.

I might also suggest you spend some time thinking about bankroll management. If you sit with your entire bankroll, you will get broke… it’s just a matter of time. Buyin for 10% or 5% or 2%, or whatever number feels right for you, and you will be able to survive the runs of bad luck that are a very real part of this game.

Good luck.

He has reached the 38 Achievement levels in less than 2 months which I think is pretty good since I’ve only reached the 40 level. And, I’ve been playing since they started the level rating system.

If you review his last hand, he just made a ( very bad ) BLUFF at the wrong time by not paying attention to his opponents calls.

I rather want to be friends than to be the best poker player! The many is stunning, magic game!! I suck some times but its fun to play anyway! I dont now about Pokerking3344,all i now is i can beat you and i can lose!!! Chill down and you will enjoy the game more!! Yes the game is to win but also to understand it! That i mean you have to understand the peopel you play against, you will loose if you only think of your self first! Now you think i am a low rank player,i have my self bad but i never say i am better than any one,but i now i can beat anyone and i can lose to anyone! Its a beautiful game,me i play for its fun,win or lose!! Its stunning peopel here!!! I wish you all sucess on the tabels as i wish evryone!!

El-jog, gamer girl, and now PokerKing - all gone suddenly and without a trace. Here’s some footage from a remote island I’m told might be them now - not sure who’s who, though:

Likely more a Instant Karma thing… but we all shine on.

Only the ‘greatest fighter’ would dare or be allowed to do this.
Yep, it’s Rocky holding the ‘greatest squad leader’s’ trusty Thompson.
Vic Morrow(Sgt. Saunders) with Rocky Marciano
Rocky was from the town very close to mine. He was, and still is, ‘The Greatest’ even if pokerking3344 is not!

That is pretty good. I’ve been playing 20 days, since around 12/13/21 and just reached level 26. I can’t say if he’s a good player yet but, he definitely ‘talks’ one of the greatest games ever.

But seriously, almost never brag on playing poker or other games because I once told another tough former pro boxer from Brockton (Tony Petronelli) that I was going to kick his a**.
Met him in a club while playing pool. I had some brews & was winning & bragging all night. Won again & yelled “Who’s next?”
A guy points & says “him over there.” I looked & said, “I’ll kick your *** pal.”
The guy then asks if I know who he (Tony) is. I didn’t until he told me.
Tony was shaking his head & laughing. Then proceeded to beat the heck out of me in the game. I never bragged or won another game for the rest of the night.
But I was alive!!
True Story.

I grew up in the Petronelli AC :+1:t2: From Golden Glove Champions to World Champions , the absolute best gym and trainers in the fight game !!

Wow, pretty cool. I love competing(why I’m on Relay). You must have been in/or witnessed some great competitions. My boxing career consisted of a few sparing bouts with a good friend who was a Karate expert .(won tournaments)
In one bout he caught me with a pretty hard right. Didn’t go down but, it did “ring my bell.”
So hung up the gloves for good. Can appreciate how tough some are. Only sparing I do now is w/ fellow guitar players or, card players here on replaypoker.com
Anyway, since pokerking3344 hasn’t made a dazzling comeback…
I’m am the greatest!!!
