pic of me
well said my friend.
I like your sence of humor .
I try and laugh a little more everyday.
We in New Zealand are in lockdown.
We are in social isolation mode and should only associate with those in our household bubble.
People living alone are advised to have 1 contact person.
Supermarkets are open but are limited to maintain a 2m spacing between customers. 1 person per household to shop.
G.P.s are doing online consultations.
Pharmacies are operating a 1 in 1 out system.
Corner stores/Dairies also on a 1 in 1 out system and are only allowed to sell essentials.
All take-away food outlets are closed.
All restaurants are closed.
All bars are closed.

Welcome to the Forums, SizzlerZ. Yes, inactivity is an issue. But…
If you meet no virus, you’ll catch no virus.
I am actually using more alcohol on my hands than is disappearing down my throat!
Do bags of mulch and black dirt count as essential purchases?
I’m supposed to be at “higher risk” due to my years. (68 years young)
However I’m too mean (read stupid) to be afraid. I obey the rules for the sake of my wife. I’d hate to make her sick, but I take advantage of every loophole to get an hour or so a day outside, rain or shine. I cruise the markets for TP and hand sanitiser, both of which are in short (read unavailable) supply.
When confined I find distraction in my never ending quest to learn to play the guitar. My fingers have gotten so tough that I can no longer feel the playing cards between my fingers (read I can’t cheat anymore).
So, until we are better payed and better served I wish you all health and happiness. -ed
Local beaches and parks are closed in SE Florida. People are still slipping under no entry tapes and barriers in-spite of a $500 fine for going down to watch the sunset. Early shopping hours for seniors are great except I cannot remember the last time my wife left the house at 6:00 AM.

Welcome, JVR. Thanks.
I work at a supermarket. I still can’t get o/t but our workload is sharper. We have a new hires in every dept. A competitor nearby had an infected employee. The only big change for me is that customers wear masks and gloves more oft than not, and I must walk them to the product cautiously. And we can no longer sample. My pub poker is over so I am here on line for poker regularly. But life is good.
So glad when I see or hear people say “Life is good!” It is.
If the customers wearing the masks aren’t infected, then it’s a shame they are breaking recommendation that healthy people not wear (hoard) masks and save them for the health care workers. It’s awful to think that the people caring for us while we are sick are putting their own lives in danger because personal protective equipment is becoming scarce.
I personally have 2 masks, from when I was undergoing chemo treatments, and they are old, but better than nothing, because my immune system is compromised.
Dressed up for work. For those interested, the red sign means the patient in that room is on Airborne Isolation Precautions. The display box showing “normal” means that the negative pressure ventilation system is operating properly. Yes that’s me wearing a helmet with a shield and it goes down below the jawline to the neck. It’s kind of like wearing an air conditioner on your head. Kind of handy since the gown makes me feel like I’m in a microwave.
