High Stakes Players in Low Stakes Games...ARE YOU THAT BAD REALLY?

Why are you curious? Dont worry, i had overmillion few years ago and i got same river bad beats like in low stakes

I agree. I stick to low stakes and top off 10 times a day. Which means I’m pretty average.

The interesting thing though, is that high stakes players tend to lose a lot at low stakes.

Maybe they are not accustom to low stakes. Or maybe they are even worse than you are suggesting.

@MSD0S we just don’t care; the stakes are meaningless to our bankrolls so we do whatever feels fun

enjoy the free chips!

Another cry tit bwahahaha

“Dear Replay,

Please arrange the games so that the only outcome is me winning. Furthermore, I would like all gameplay to proceed according to my personal preferences. Players should only bet when they have a good hand, so that I can fold when my hand is not so good. Large raises that make me uncomfortable, or which frustrate my strategy as I do not know how to respond appropriately, should also be banned. Although a timer is already provided, please force players to play even faster as I get bored.

Finally, kindly monitor players’ bankrolls and ensure that those of us with fewer chips only play each other, despite the fact that having a bigger roll gives you no material edge in gameplay (other than being able to avoid mistakes that spring from ROR, which just means you were playing too big a game in the first place, aka, it’s no one’s fault but yours).

Oops I ruined the bit there by breaking character! I guess I’ll go mow the lawn.

Sincerely,
Unreasonable User”

ROTFLMFAO :joy:

@Younguru that was so awesome:).

You know what happens when high stakes players play in lower stakes games? You learn from them and you get better. @Younguru reached One Billion Chips yet plays in a 20K per game Nordic Warriors league regularly and it makes the league and all its members better poker players. @BlackWidow was top 10 in chips but she was a fixture in the 100k Golden Donks league. Playing against and learning from great players makes you better. Yes the chips don’t mean much to those players but they have fun and compete just like you do. And their bankroll has no impact on their performance or mine.

When you play live or another online site other than at this replay site, one doesn’t really know the skill level of the other players. Unless you’ve seen or played against them before, just play your own game and watch and learn (or teach).

The higher (or is it lower) ranked player may just be passing time.

Still banging that same old drum. High stakes players bully me. boohoo!
If you have the buy-in you are entitled to play at any level. Players can only take one buy-in to the table so bankroll is irrelevant and casinos’ never ask how big your bank account is. There are pot limit and fixed limit games on here to if you are scared of the regular tables and the terror of poker.
If you cant take the heat get out of the dang kitchen.

you have probably high stakes that you can never understand what is going on.
this forum is about suggestions how to make the site better.
many players try to help how to manage it, as they play on similar sites too.
i have read a lot of them but none of them got realized since years.
so, it does not make any sense to make any suggestions.

on the other side, I love to play here more than on any other site.
as we always say, no site is perfect

You should be happy to have players willing to risk their stack every hand.
It’s thanks to them that I moved up very quickly, I never understood all this hatred around “bingo players”, I see them as a charity.

This is a poker site and should try to be as realistic as possible to what live poker is. Live casinos dont check your bank balance as you enter and stipulate where you are allowed to play so why should Replay Poker?. Pay the buy-in and observe the rules of the game is all they ask. Players are free to use their chips any way they like within those boundaries. Chips, not cards, are the tools players bring to the table and should be used to dominate opponents. If I know you are unsettled by aggressive play and large bets, I am absolutely going to bomb the hell out of you every time we are in a hand together. Thats poker.

I think the best solution is, that the tables 200/400 & lower are only allowed for players below 999.999 chips.

Millionairs should play on upper tables.
This is also good for the site, as they can make more real money.

players play wherever they feel like it.If you don’t like that find another table maybe 1/2 or another site even. Quit whining about the rules here,if you can’t take the competition stay off the tables and be an observer lol

There are two types of players on Replay
1- social players
2- players that want to win
This is not rocket surgery, you don’t have to be a brained sturgeon to figure this out.
Replay provides everything needed for both of these players to have a good time. There are private leagues you can join for your social needs and main lobby games for when you want to play the game of your choice, and if you choose no limit expect that tool to be used, play fixed limit or pot limit if you can’t hang. this thread is a nothing burger.

I don’t get it. I remember playing against you in a few MTT’s and you’re pretty good. What happens in Ring games, do you change your strategies?

@PeterPan4711
This is the third thread you are filling with this nonsense idea. Several players have pointed out the flaws in your logic yet you still continue to push it. Its a bad idea. It isn’t poker. Play fixed limit or pot limit if no limit is too hot for you.

Hello? WAAAAHHHHH! This isnt even real poker. It’s online poker. If you manage your fake worthless chips bankroll well, you never spend a dime on fake chips anyway. You can’t use the chips for anything other than gambling on this forum…so in fact that’s all they are worth. They won’t buy your groceries. Stop taking this amusement so seriously. If you are buying chips. You’re an addict. Get some self discipline and control yourself. Buwahahahahahaha!

Preventing players with above a certain chips from playing below certain stakes would be a whole can of worms.

The table limits negate any perceived multi million chip weight of money leverage…
Just because someone has 200 or more buyins and everyone else has the recommended BRM 40 or 50, they absolutely have no inherent poker advantage

As mentioned, some players like to let off steam in a low stake game. Let their bad steak play out, try out a different strategy, or game type.
Even though you flew First Class or Business in the past, you are not denied a seat in economy when you want to tighten your belt, even if you can afford it…

New players are offered appealing first purchase offers, such as the one for 1 million chips. They can comfortably play any low stake games to learn and explore, especially necessary if they are new to poker.
Plunging them into 100/200 and above would appear mercenary and unfair on them.

It would cause accusations of leaning on any purchasers to lose their chips faster if the more chips you bought, they higher you are obliged to play.

Long term players have slowly built their Banks in low stakes games, making friends and settled in their regular tables. We dont want to suddenly evict them and force them to move up, just because.
