Give us the ability to hide certain user profile pictures

If i could have the option of hiding something on Replay it would be my bank account and rank. That is no ones business but my own and since rank can be bought don’t give me that stupid answer that rank is helpful to others BS. At least give us the option to let just friends know our business…not every Tom,Dick or Harriette.

Individually I don’t care what you do.
I love the pictures and even copy many. Keep them or individually block them.
Depersonalize is not a good option.

This is a excellent suggestion. I couldn’t agree more. Give us the ability to block. it is creepy to look at some of these profiles and sometimes causes me to leave the game.

"creepy " really? comon the pic is the size of a postage stamp.

I guess that’s why they call it a “micro aggression”.

There should be an option to change all pictures to pictures of me, because that wouldn’t be creepy at all. Maybe use a lot of different pics of me so you can see my perfect hair from several angles.

Does anyone else wonder what Sunny would look like bald? I figure 3 or 4 of us could hold him down while 2 more shear him like a sheep. Never mind. Must’ve been something in the coffee I drank to give me such evil–but fun–thoughts.

Oh boy. You’re explaining how to do it correctly, but I can just see someone trying this and their whole page turns orange because of a mistype. It’s a clever idea though.

I want to block all these darn photos of children and babies. I know everyone thinks that their child is the cutest ever but please give us a break from all these kiddie snaps. I play poker to get away from children in adult-only casinos, Unlike restaurants and movies. you do not have to put up with crying or misbehaving kids. On Replay, I can be stuck staring at frozen images of drooling infants and grinning tots for hours, Now that is creepy, Talk about “Children of the Damned”… Whenever I meet someone and they pull out their cell phone to inflict pictures of their brats, I just cringe.

Yikes tell us how you really feel …lol

i 100% agree with unskilld’s suggestion . - this is not a difficult program update 2 perform and allows each player 2 control what images they have 2 see at the tables - update please replay !

I prefer when players take enough interest to post a picture but some are too tacky.

Instead of hiding any I think there should be acceptable community standards that must me adhered to.

There are community standards for avatars…

Profile images must NOT contain:

  • Nudity, pornography or sexually explicit images
  • Current or historic criminal, religious or political figures/symbols
  • Trademarked or copyrighted images
  • Drug references/symbols
  • Depictions of violence
  • Racial, ethnic or religious slurs
  • Sexism, bigotry or homophobic slurs
  • Obscene gestures or captions that include profanity

I would be OK with them adding babies to the list.

I’ll probably regret saying this, but … for the longest time, when just seeing SPG’s picture while playing, I thought it was a women!!! It wasn’t until she said something in a forum that I bothered to pull up her profile and make her picture bigger, that I realized my mistake. Oops

I suggest you start regretting that immediately.

SPG is a dude, but he sometimes self-identifies as a tall bearded dwarven lesbian, especially if he has been hitting the bottle more than usual, like now.

I gotta give you kudos SPG, nothing ever seems to phase you. I had a great laugh over your bearded dwarven lesbian comment. I know I can always count on you for at least a chuckle or two. Keep’em coming. Thnx.

When I first take my seat at the table, I notice avatars or pictures. After that initial awareness, I never pay any attention to them at all.

I agree that the addition of profile pictures has enhanced the appearance of the new tables. However, there are certain pictures that even though they don’t violate any rules, some of us find some of them either distracting or distasteful, and having the ability to hide these particular pictures, just like we have the ability to disable their chat, would make our experience here at Replay just that much more enjoyable.
