I get why they are not usually allowed. But maybe one could have the option to gift one’s tournament prize to another? Turn it into a ticket instead at least and gift that? Could be fun.

I like the idea but i don’t think it’s gonna happen in replay, simply because replay sells chips, if you allow players to transfer them, you could create a black market for chips. but thats my guess.
E: However i do think this could be done differently, i’m refering to staking, allow players to stake a friend in a tournament, and they get a fixed percentage of revenue, this one’s a bit harder to exploit.
That’s why I think tournament-based gifting could be feasible. If you can only do it when you place in a tourney, it would likely not be worth anyone’s while to cultivate a black market. You’d have to play all day.
