My suggestion is for those times when pple are just being so irate with chat, like cursing an other colorful comments there should be a way where we can invite a mod to deal with it if its getting way out of line like last night was
You did great! I saw your message four minutes after you wrote it, clicked on your profile to find out where you were playing, and arrived at the table just as the offending player left. I submitted the report, And the situation is resolved.
I would love to see a button on the table in the future HTML version that says call moderator, And it would search to see which moderators online, search to see which ones are not playing, get that moderator first,… Have a hierarchy of rules to help select which moderator to call. And if there is anything worse than not being able to get a moderator, it’s having five of them show up at once! LOL
Is that what you meant, and automated system?
yes,i want to be a mod here ,been on this site a very long time now,This behavior i dont allow in my public chat rooms on another site i use lol
OK… I will forward your name to my Boss & you’ll be contacted!

I really like this Call MOD Button idea!! Terrific suggestion! Thank you!
your’e welcome,if people see this option, then chances are they wont risk it an we all can enjoy the game much more
A call Mod button right at the table would be so fast. I like it !!!
Many times I see lost topics resurface every few months, No matter who suggests it its a necessary feature if you are going to have mods in the 1st place.
Lets say you have a mod now, they get “trained” ( we hope they do, lol ) on conflict resolution, and any associated rules. lets say they volunteer 6 hrs a day, and in 6 hours they bounce around or are playing themselves. They never go to targeted tables that need help, so its basically a hit/miss that they end up on the very table that needs Mod assistance.
The whole point of having mods …is that when need’d … they show up and solve the problem. This works no differently to any and all forms of Moderation, including moderation of the forum. The point of a Head mod is to train mods, admin mods, and solve disputes between players & mods. ( not a complete job desc. )…
@MickiFin,
I have a feeling that the pool of actual ppl that would make good mods, is artificially low due to the restriction of a violation free acct… When a player is not “staff” they might not feel the duty to be all PC, or tow the Replay line… but once accepted as a mod or PRep or staff, then they would have to live up to a higher standard kinda. Sometimes the best Sherriff is the reformed gunslinger.
A Call a Mod button is way overdue, if you aren’t willing to donate that 5 hrs a day, then just don’t be a mod… Yes mods also need time they are “off duty” and won’t be need’d to be called to tables.
An extra button to the left of Fold seems like one lace that would be convenient.
I would think a Rep/Mod button would have a better chance at being of the most service, and would encourage that when a call came at least two Reps/Mods would attend. As it stands now it is rare that Mods are at the offending table; there is a better chance that a Rep would be at a table.

Replay has currently 9 Mods and 30 Player Reps so a combo button would be a great option.
We wouldn’t need a button at all if people weren’t such big babies on here. You don’t like what someone says , block their chat. If it gets way out of hand you can report the player.Stop letting 13 year old’s play , its not a place for children. An internet poker site is not a place for thin skinned people who get their panties in a bunch over being called a donk.
Hi Sharon,
I am glad you support a button. Also, I am not sure why you want young folks banned. It was driven home to me years ago that ownership wants a safe place for families. A pool room atmosphere is not wanted.
I have played in a number of free poker sites that do not provide mods and reps with other oversight as well. The atmosphere, language, actions and cliques at those sites were awful. Those sites ALL failed.
I count my blessings. The forum is as tough as I want it; even here it is rough. But there is oversight.
Peace.

Whatever… just one big happy family here … with 9 Moms (Mods) and 30 dads (player Reps) all just watching out for us.
Kind of like calling 911…because there are emergencies on the internet that demand immediate attention…
My apologies. Please let me be more clear. Sometimes a moderator is desired and sometimes a representative is desired. You could have two different buttons, but I think that is overkill. But a button that alerts all Mods and all Reps should insure that there will be immediate help for the player who is asking.
It may be that more than one responder occurs. Great; that means back-up.
I also imagine there will be some who will abuse such buttons and in that case the abuser should be handled as such (discontinue the button).

Yeah, should it turn into a firefight backup would be important…
Yup, call in the Marines !!!
Actually it should be like those medical devices (I fell and I cant get up) for old people…the folks who think they might need the button should subscribe…and it would be another source of revenue for Replay
I agree, Sharon. 13 yr olds aren’t allowed in a casino as far as I know, and imo, there is a level of maturity that goes along with this game that not many 13 yr olds have. I understand Replays desire to be family friendly, but since everyone here has had to deal with a brat in one form or another in our lives, imagine that brat at our tables and dealing with that ■■■■■■■■. So Replay, tell us again how that is a good thing?
I spent 7 years in a fifty-five and older community. Within six months I missed the screams of children, the yelling of teens, and the sounds of kids at play. For seven years I felt like I was in a community of dullards.
Now, in another place, where there are many children, I am enjoying the sounds that only playful young people can emit. Can they be bratty? Sure they can. But they can also be respectful, courteous, and helpful. If these kids share our space, I believe very few would irritate us. Should they, and hoping that we do get a button that can call for a rapid response, moderators can instantly mute the trouble-maker.
I think the idea that the player across from me, who just took half my stack, was 12 years old, would be very uplifting and it would allow me to laugh at myself.
I think that we likely have more young people playing amongst us than you thought. I also think that 95% of the young players stay silent and enjoy when they “beat the older folks.”
