We, the staff at Forever Phil, would like your input. As you know we are a new league and have been very thrilled with your participation in our games. Looking towards the future and next quarter.
If you would like to help us plan for the future please reply to this message and let us know what days and times would you like to have a Forever Phil game and are there any games you would like to see us have in the next quarter? Would you be interested in some team games like two or three team member games?
We are so happy to have you playing in our league, If you have any other ideas or thoughts please share them with us. This is your chance to help us plan the future of Forever Phil.

Tuesday to Saturday night is a long gap in between games. Suggesting Omaha Hi/Lo might work, say Thursdays at 7pm for those that miss any of the 3 games toss one you missed during the week or didnāt do so well in, so it doesnāt count towards your quarterly tournament totals.

Jen, after reading all this I have a couple thoughts. Iāve run Muckerās for over 3 years and there are growing pains. The one major thought I had was to create a league that was different and unique. Taking parts of other leagues is fine but not unique. Youāll get more involved and playing if you come up with something no other league has. You mentioned teams, does everyone know how to play team poker? Points for knockouts is fine but make it worth it to all. You have many, many members but very few play. A couple of thoughts. Make the buy-in higher, make the knockout higher and decrease the late registration which I agree with. Rob would agree to just about anything you want, of that I know. I am going to run a Heads-up tourney in Muckerās soon with hopefully 32 players and the final 4 will split 4 million. Thatās different and enticing. I in no way would ever disrespect the memory of Phil, but you need to keep the tourneys fresh in order to increase participation. Just my thoughts Jen, Sue and Jake. You guys have done a great thing here and best of luck.

Whatever the Staff at Forever Phil decides just try to make it fun for us. If itās not fun itās just not worth doing.

I havenāt previously commented about this League or Philā¦ I Didnāt know Phil wellā¦ I meet him in MTT freerollsā¦ I rarely play MTT or SNG - only if Iām bored or looking for a change etcā¦ Freerolls are light hearted and fun if Iām in the mood and I still play competitively and take them fairly seriously most of the timeā¦ As i mentioned I didnāt know Phil well but from what Iāve read it reminds me of the spirit and character of Phil - Freerollsā¦ I like the aim and purpose that this League has - to be very welcoming to invite new players, and create an environment that is positive for all members. That feels like the sentiment of how Phil has been represented by his closest friendsā¦ Personally I feel this is the uniqueness of this new Leagueā¦
Again I appreciate the fact this League is trying to cater to as many members as possible, including more games at different timesā¦ Most games in this League start at 4am, not a great time for Australian playersā¦ I appreciate more times have been addedā¦ Games on Sat & Sun would be great Australian Eastern Standard Time between 9am - 11pmā¦ Australia is a day ahead so these times would basically be Fri & Sat USA timeā¦
Adding something new and unique? I like the idea of TEAM play, new games like Royal etcā¦ You need to unfortunately cater to what the players want and will playā¦ Iād be surprised if many would want & play TEAM or Royal poker etcā¦
Iād like to see Leagues have extra branches under the same League for additional ideas and games like TEAM play etcā¦ I think most League organisers would just create a completely NEW League like Forever Phil TEAM League for TEAM play etcā¦ Same for Royal or Omaha etcā¦ This just creates more work and mess IMOā¦ The way Leagues work on RP is limited by RPā¦ Favourites in League donāt even work from my experience!!! Iād love to see ALL League games (favourited) listed on the DASHBOARD page!
I have no interest in the knockout bounty and I feel it would reduce the prize pay-outā¦ There is not even a summary in lobby of who knocked out the most players? I think seeing the biggest heavy hitter knocking out the most players is worth more than the chip bounty!
Its slow and tedious to find my League gamesā¦ I gotta click MENU then LEAGUE then i gotta search for my League in a big long list?
There is a button on the profile page LEAGE PANELā¦ The only option is the cancel membership? No option to load my League & games? What a waste of a button!
Iām always surprised how much room for improvement there is on RP and yet, very rarely any is seenā¦ I guess my overall point is Leagues could be better in many ways but are very limited by what RP offers and providesā¦
Option to display and advertise a League you are in or organise/run on profile? Players are frequently trying to recruit new members to join Leaguesā¦ The option to display it on profile is a great way to promote it IMOā¦ BTW it should be OPTIONAL only to display! I hate all the new bells, whistles and gimmicks RP is implementing without the option to opt in or out and disable.
@12beat22 mentioned a lot of important and valid points regarding participation & uniqueness! Why cant Leagues offer limited SNG and ring games? Personally I feel this would promote more play with members and more interest in participation.
An occasional 10K weekly or monthly MTT with slow blinds structure & NO knockout might be funā¦
@12beat22 the HU tourney sounds like a great idea! @puggywug tried something similarā¦ The problem IMO is you are limited by what RP provides you with on RPā¦

Thanks Dogs! That was very insightful. I am passing all this info along to Jake and the team so we can all look at what we have collectively to help us plan for the future. Your input is very helpful. SO, if you want to see the knockout scoreboard at the end of each game a knockout board link appears in the lobby for each game it takes a few minutes after each game completes to see it. We do have a running leaderboard to track the knockouts for which there will be a winner for a Mr_Monk Cup title at the end of each quarter.
You can see in the image there where it says Knockouts click that.

Mr_Monk Cup title is based on knockouts and not points or both ? I didnāt know that.
