Congratulations to the podium finishers of today’s Mr. Monk’s Challenge, 1960Royal, WickedWarlock and Fitski. Congratulations and Well Done All.
A Memorial Game for Jenny (JenGen7) will be played on Friday 20th SEP at 5.00pm EST. It will be an individual game and will be in the Team Play Poker lobby, so if you are not a member of TPP already and wish to play, please contact Lyle ( flashlight ) or let us know here and we can get you registered. I think the registration will only be for this Special game.
Rob has created the Playoff Game for the five other Teams in Dynamic Duos, it now shows on the DD menu in green and set to run at 12 noon Eastern on Sunday the 22nd. It is a ten seat table that will handle two Players from each Team, in the event that a Team somehow manages to sneak a third Player into the mix… that Team will finish in last regardless of how the other two Players did. The top five placings of each Team’s Players will determine the final ranking, how the second Player on each Team finishes is not material.
Bravo to the Fighters who prevailed once again.
But thanks also, to everyone who played… it was a very good turnout for a Thursday game.

What follows is what was posted by Sarah, in several League Chat Groups…
Hello Replay members. Please join us in remembering Jen (JenGen7) in a special MTT game originated and hosted by Muckers/TPP/Forever Phil leagues. Sadly, Jenny passed on from this life on August 11th after complications from surgeries on a brain tumor. Although Jen was with us briefly on Replay and in Leagues, her impact was profound. Through her friendships, her kindness, her generosity, and her devotion to her friends and leagues. She made others feel listened to and cared for; even strangers. This was just a glimpse of her impact virtually to us on Replay. In Jen’s professional life, she was a nurse, author, editor, publisher, and volunteer. In her personal life she was a devoted mother, loving grandmother, sister, wife, and friend. She spent decades devoted to her loved ones and once she finally had a chance to pursue her passions, dreams, and hobbies she did so. She did so by relocating to Bristow to attend Cornerstone Church, writing (including 15 books!); she partnered with friends and founded a publishing partnership where she gave her insight, struggles, and experience in efforts of encouraging success among her partners. During her free time, she of course joined and blessed us here on Replay. She volunteered her time with friends to form a league in remembrance of everyone’s friend, Phil (Mr_Monk), and even volunteered on Replay writing blogs that shined a light on things that may have not had a chance to be lit. A statement by Dan (Franklyl) regarding her devotion to her league and her resilience, “She was keen on seeing the league survive and grow… She was the driving force behind Forever Phil up until she had to undergo surgery on a brain tumor that ultimately took her life so soon…I saw Jenny go through some highs and lows during the short time we had working and chatting together and she kept going through the disappointing moments… Rest In Peace, Jenny. It has been an honour and a pleasure to have known and worked with you.” For many of us, we were enlightened by her bubbly, kind, and humorous demeanor. She found humor and light in almost every situation, including her many health challenges. A statement by Bill (Doon), “Forever Phil’s Lightening Pairs was launched this May. In early June, I was venting out loud in Jenny’s presence, I said something along the lines of… had I known beforehand how much time and effort running a League would be demanding of me, I would not have taken it on. Jenny calmly and without any emotion simply said… “Welcome to my world, quit whining” and that set me straight.” Another message by Doon showing Jen’s commitment and perseverance, “Sadly, there came a point in time when Jenny could not participate as fully as she once did, and then she had the stroke which seriously impacted her stride when it came to being around and involved. She made every effort to still give all of us the same level of effort and commitment before the setback health-wise occurred… Jenny was [and still is] a selfless, warm, inviting, helpful, gracious, understanding and humble soul. I will continue to miss her wit and unbridled determination.”
While we were all waiting to hear the updates on Jenny’s recent battle, we all were also waiting for that celebratory moment that she was well and okay. Then we received the tragic news regarding Jen’s passing. Tragic passings happen without notice each and every day. Please let this be a reminder that life is short. Life is short and it’s so fragile, and can be taken from us in an instant. Don’t wait to celebrate life just on birthdays or occasions, celebrate life each and every day. Forgive more, argue less, understand and accept, and live life the way you want to live your life. If you want to go on that trip, DO IT. If you want to dye your hair purple, let it be VIBRANT. Let the people you love know you love them. You don’t have to tell the people you dislike that you dislike them… But try to understand that being misunderstood is often not intentional and is okay. We are all human. We have similar likes and dislikes, as much as we have different likes and dislikes. Regardless of any indifference, or where we are in this world, everyone deserves respect, everyone deserves understanding, compassion, to be treated with dignity, and to be treated with kindness. Jen, like Phil, inhabited this belief and pursuit, and is something we can all learn from and hopefully act upon in our own lives. We all deserve to.
Jenny will be sorely missed by so many, including the many who only knew her virtually. Please join us in celebrating and remembering Jenny tonight in the special memorial game at 5pm EST in the Team Play Poker League. If you are not currently a member and wish to join us, please let SarahFra, LadyCon, or Flashlight know and one of us can get you added quickly. While remembering Jen today, please remember she would want you to celebrate. While we celebrate her life, her impact, she would also want us to celebrate ourselves.
I would like to play on Jenny Memorial Game
you have been added to TPP Team Play Poker league.
Forever Phil League would like to thank all those who were able to play in the JenGen7 (Jenny) Memorial game to help us reflect on Jenny’s life. A special Thank You to Lyle and his staff (TPP), and JD and his staff (Muckers), for all their assistance in getting the game on. Very much appreciated.
Congratulations to the Fighters who eked out a narrow victory over the Munchers and the Mystics.
The final will be decided on table one. The five other Teams can also play at the ten seat table listed in green, this will determine placings of three to seven, inclusive. Good luck to all.
Congratulations to MONKEYzBUzINEz…[Grampenstein, HeyHandsOff & XXC63] who have won Season 4 of Forever Phil’s Dynamic Duos. A secondary bravo to the Bananas [1960Royal & CentaX] who won the additional Playoff game, to secure third place over all.
Congratulations to today’s podium finishers, WickedWarlock, maweilen and mimi65. Well Done and good game to all the players.
Congratulations to Monk’s Fighters who have won the month of September, making this their fifth in a row. Time to party, Players from all the other Teams are invited. Cheers…
The following was posted by Dan [FranklyI] in Skype about three hours ago.
HI FOLKS. TIME TO THINK ABOUT YOUR TEAM IN THE DYNAMIC DUOS.
Currently we have three entries, Lightning Bandits, MONKEYzBUzINEz and Deeper Purple. We would like to get 8 teams to the table this season and to that end Doon is negotiating with Replay to help us celebrate the fact that this Pairs tourny is 12 months old this month. It wasn’t officially Duos till the new year but what’s in a name change when there is an excuse to celebrate. We would also like the teams to restrict their players to 3 and hope that any others will form their own team. Bear in mind that if we can get the 8 teams, each with 3 players, and you still require a Sub, then there would be 6 players outside your game that you could possibly call on. So get your teams together and put your nomination in. If all goes well then we are hoping to start on Sunday 13th October.
Okay… I admit that it has been a while since I have posted something that had some bulk to it. There are some among us all who know me better than most… they have quietly expressed their concerns about me and my absence from being verbose. There has been some speculation as to what might be the cause of this. Well… the following hopefully will serve to have us all on the same page again, regarding me. I do not have a perpetual fever, I am not bloated and I have not been slacking off despite the temptation. Furthermore, I am not constipated in terms of producing words that work well together which will clue you in to where I am coming from on any particular subject. So with that being said, here we go.
A MTT called Just Jenny’s Jousting was created and began running on the 7th of this month. This was done to permanently commemorate and honour Jenny Gentry’s contribution, which was the lion’s share, to and for the creation of Forever Phil League and all it’s components, subsequently thereafter.
There was no special fanfare for the launch of Just Jenny’s Jousting, this is because we here did not want there to be any form of distraction from the very special MTT to celebrate Jenny’s time with us in this realm, which ran on September 20th. Thanks again to Lyle and John who made it happen and work. A very special thanks, again, to Sarah for doing what she did, that she does so well.
I am pleased to announce that Replay has generously contributed a significant amount of add on chips to Just Jenny’s Jousting for all four games in October. On October 5th there will be 1.25M chips added to the prize pool, and for each of the three following weeks in October, 250K will be added to the prize pools.
This will not be promoted beyond Forever Phil League, but we encourage everyone who has read this [thank you for tuffing it out] to invite not more than two of his or her best friends. We do not want to attract vultures who are just keen on the chips and do not give a defecation about this League and those of us who are proud to be a part of it.
By the way, because it was mentioned within the last 24 hours, I can now confirm that I am presently in deep and serious negotiations with Replay. This back and forth so far with Replay has been unlike anything that I have experienced previously, I gotta say. The last time that I was in this capacity and situation, it was simply like just dealing with a mellow Replay Rep’ guy type person. But copulating now… there is the Replay guy and… also the Casino guy who is really fornicating scary, even to me and I’ve been around every stereotypical block that there is. But seriously this effin guy really looked like Silvio Manfred Dante from the Sopranos. Spot on dead nuts precise, except that he was wearing these weird exaggerated Elvis sunglasses indoors, and truth be told… he was much taller and wider than anyone that I have seen ever, anywhere. And to top that off as a bonus, information wise, he had this very off putting aroma about him which defied a rational understanding as to what the, pure and defined, source may have been. I am still perplexed, maybe beyond repair even… time will tell, as it nearly always does.
Bravo everyone, simply because if you have made it this far, it means that you are still alive, which is a good thing, really. Cheers…
Here are the results for today’s Mr. Monk’s Challenge … congratulations to FranklyI and Daredevil99 for making it to the top three.
Here are the results of the Mr. Monks Challenge for the third quarter of 2024, and although it is not shown, 1960Royal finished with the most knockouts.
Serious congratulations to Mimi65 who has won the Title for both the most points achieved per best 12 games and the best overall average points per game for all games played in the Mr. Monk’s Challenge in the 3rd Quarter of 2024 … and congratulations as well to 1960Royal who achieved the most knockouts in this same time.
