The Forever Phil League
Hi,
We at the Forever Phil League are sponsoring a special game that will highlight Multiple Sclerosis:
Starting on Friday June 30, 2023, at 9:30 PM EST. Our goal is to allow the winners of our Friday night games to choose the charity they want to highlight for the next game. This idea was presented to us by Doon. And we are running with it. Thanks, Bill. And also, a shout out to SarahFra. Your input has been invaluable to all of us at FP.
For our first game we have settled on highlighting MS. Yes, we know this has been done before as it was a charity near and dear to Phil’s heart. But recent circumstances have made a huge impact on me personally. About three years ago one of my plethora of nieces was diagnosed with MS. And more recently my grown son, who developed symptoms of MS following a real battle with COVID. I have included information on the effects of COVID with a higher incident of MS following COVID. When my niece was diagnosed, we tried to find any link to the disease in my family but found there was actually very little information on the family trait for Multiple Sclerosis. Another problem with MS is it is frequently misdiagnosed and is difficult to diagnose. Increased awareness of MS will help in furthering research for better ways to diagnose and receive proper treatment.
Fast forward three years and there is more information about how the disease can cluster in families. I am including two links that provide more details about what the causes are for MS along with a link to donate to the MS Society. The more we learn about this disease the better the chances we have of finding a cure and better treatments for people suffering from MS.
Please educate yourself. By increasing awareness of Multiple Sclerosis we are helping people living with this illness like my niece and my son. The links are below.

That was the order of who placed and here are the ones who got bounties.

Thank you ! Are Friday night games count towards points and bounties ?
No, the Friday games will not count towards the Cup Title. Will be it’s own separate game. We felt it would be unfair to people playing the lower buy in to win the cup to maybe not be able to play the hi buy in.
