Favorite Seat Position

Not sure if this has been covered but do you have a favorite seat position at the table? Mine is lower far left. I always turn the table round to that. No doubt there is some deep psychological reason for it. Hmmm?

I generally position my seat at the 6:00 position because thatā€™s my view of a live table if Iā€™m sitting at one. The only real exception to that is in 7-stud games, I go for 7:00 position because at 6:00, the left-most hole cardsā€™ suit can be hidden.

I sit in the upper left hand seat in every game. I rotate to put myself there. I never get confused about where Iā€™m sitting that way. Also, I remember this seat is the one referred to as ā€œthe right hand of God.ā€

Top left for online poker

On live tables I prefer the 1 or 9 seat next to the dealer, I find they give the best view of other players.

In online poker I prefer the 1 oā€™clock position. Itā€™s the best seat for those virtual chair massages because itā€™s next to the isleā€¦

Iā€™ll have to try that! I love a good chair massage.

Any seat as long as I donā€™t have Replay terrorize me and seat @bahia7 to my immediate left ā€¦ The amount of cigarettes and 6 packs I have gone through having to deal with that lady and her creepy cat pic ā€¦ She always greets me w/a ā€œHi Goat lolā€ and then precedes to Abuse The Old Goat ā€¦ It is just Not Right

Gotta say, Iā€™m normally playing more than one table and place myself at 10 and 2 oā€™clock so I can see my hands best and know where to look. If I am at only 2 tables, I prefer the 6 oā€™clock position. At the old tables, didnā€™t have to overlap them at all, so didnā€™t matter as much. My favorite position though, is to the immediate left of @goatsoup ) js

Sorry. I have never been in a hand where I felt bahia7 was terrorizing anything. Your personal ā€˜daemonā€™ for sure. Perhaps very solid conservative players are your own personal ā€˜daemonā€™. Her poker ā€˜personaā€™ belies her faith.

my favorite positions is @Goatsoup to the right and @bahia7 or @Matchstk to the left of me - Stuck in the middle of you

we all scare each other and never think @bahia7 is not setting you up. I learned patience from her and love it because she also taught me by one simple post I read - Learn your players and change. My only only defense strategy against these 3 great players is that I can counteract by being so random

Three seat in live poker. I can see the whole table and close enough to knock the dealer out!

Weā€™re all in each otherā€™s heads. Thatā€™s what the game is about. The ā€˜pasteboardsā€™ are incidental when the game is at itā€™s highest level.

Dolly wins WSOP two years in a row with 10-2. Coincidental. I think not. The difference between ā€˜goodā€™ and GREAT is astronomical.

ā€œWeā€™re all scared of each other.ā€ Thatā€™s pert much a feminine thing fer as I can tell. Larry hereā€¦backed up by the rest of the blue-collar comedy tour. Ladiesā€¦surely you jest. As individuals or class-action lawsuits. Itā€™s all the same.

Have no idea what you are saying a lot of words that make no sense sorry but no sense

On 6 table I prefer bottom right, on 9 table I prefer 6ā€™O clock. My PET peeve is having to move seats manually every single game and then again when moved to new table.(to many moves makes me dizzy lol). Why replay cannot designate seats is beyond the pale. Poker Stars can do it!!!. P.S I enjoy playing bahia no matter her seat. Shame on the bully LOL.

I like how Replay shakes things up to move position. At the same table too long ā€¦ makes it interesting, more reliable.
