911 was going to be my next event. I was a Produce Manager working that day when
suddenly the loud speakers came on with the tragic news. No one could move or speak.
We all went to the break room, and just sat there. We wanted to see a tv knowing it would
be on every single station. Our manager decided this was something that effected all of us
from employees to customers so he allowed the news to play all day as it happened. Reality
sat in when I finally made it home to watch it all unfold. I chose this pic that speaks a 1000
words, but doesn’t show the sick sick events happening every second. God Help us.

I was at home when it came across “ Good Morning America “ on tv. I lost a friend. This is the day America lost her innocence. An attack on American soil :pray:t2:

That was 1969. The bombing of the twin towers was on 9-11-2001. You think that was the only music festival in Bethal, New York???

In 1972 , the Education Amendments of 1972 passed in the United States, which, as part of the Title IX non-discrimination provisions, declared that dresses could not be required of girls. Dress codes thus changed in public schools across the United States. In the 1970s, trousers became quite fashionable for women.

For Brits. On a clear night tuning in to Radio Luxembourg for music and comedy that the BBC would not broadcast.

I have several that I have been keeping in my yard for years. While they have grown some over time I am prepared to let them go to a new home for a reasonable price. Unfortunately I cannot locate the training manual.

Still buy these for the grandkids. The pet rocks were big for awhile. I mean that in popularity. lol

It’s all technology today for the kids. We had fun keeping occupied back in the day with practically nothing. Damn shame.
