Desserts to Die For

desserts

On Super Bowl weekend here in the U.S., I brought a “To Die for Carrot Cake” and it got rave reviews. I wonder what dessert you would rank along side a “to die for” cake like mine? And I’ll share the recipe if you like.

Many don’t like it, however, I am a huge fan of a good Tiramisu.

Craig, I’ve never made either of these, but this inspires me.

It would have to be my “Death By Chocolate” dessert. I don’t have a photo, but it’s layers of moist choc cake (each layer is sliced into 2 layers, for a total of 4 layers, and alternated with cool whip & choc mousse. I also sprinkle Oreo cookie crumbles over a couple of the layers (scrape off the cream filling & crush with a rolling pin). The layers go into a glass trifle bowl, which is a tall, round dish on a stem. Anyone wishing a recipe can find one online. And you can get as creative as you like with different flavors but I prefer my death in chocolate! (looks sort of like the attached photo)
