Jack and Five better when they are suited, reminds me of the “Jackson Five” singing group.
My favorite starting hand is Ace King Suited. It’s by far the most powerful hand as there are multiple ways in which it brings comfort. One reason is that you are guaranteed to have the best kicker on a high card, and you are guaranteed to have the highest card on a flush. I also think having any pocket pair is very powerful. This allows you to potentially have a three-of-a-kind that is hidden from your opponents. Because of this, you can usually win a lot of chips especially if you have something like pocket twos.
A X suited. Lower cards if you miss can be folded. Premium cards can hit 2pair, str8s, flush and full house. You might win the hand with any of those hits becuse of your higher kicker.
The first time I won a million chips in one pot it was with 2-3 suited.

AA is the best, but QQ is a close 2nd. Won a lot of hands with Queens

7-4 Call me crazy, but when I used to play ring games, I had one good friend on site.
Grimsheeper always said 7-4 was his favorite hand to play. He got muted for trying to help a beginner player at the table, by warning of a bully who always overbid his hands.
The bully reported him, and punishment was set forth. I even wrote the powers that be in his defense, but to no avail. So, he chose to go play elsewhere. I have always played 7-4 in his memory. It also happened to win me my biggest pot of almost 700K , in non tournament play.

I usually have great luck with ny J 10. Don’t know why, but I draw well on that
QK suited has always been a strong hand for me, Pocket Q’s are the absolute worst.

A Pair of 3’s, or a Pair of 6’s usually gets me moving into a game & I usually pick up Trips on the Flop…
Pocket Qs just seem to work out for me, even better than AA for whatever reason
