Making it to the final of the 2020 Replay Team Championship. Even though my team didn’t win, it was still a fun and memorable experience.

When, one year ago, I saw the top 10… And yes, I thought they might be skilled people.

It was so much fun.

I started to play poker by an accident almost exactly three years ago and at the beginning I was not convinced even if I liked it or not.
I remember that after few weeks I was frustrated of no visible progress and considering giving up when, during an MTT I had received my first friends request.
Suddenly I felt better - someone likes me - that thought gave me the energy to finish in the money, that was some achievement at the time.
I started to play with more confidence and after several months switched to real money poker rooms, but every now and then I go back to Replay to play a game, or even only to see how she performs.
Ah, yes, it is she, my first Replay friend was a girl who, unknowingly became my inspiration and all the money I won I ‘owe’ to her.
I know it sounds cheezy, so I even did not mention it to her,
but then you wanted to hear a story, hence here you have one.
Anyway, should I receive some chips, please accredit them to her account, that would be a poor attempt to repay for what I have received from her friendship.

[ the story is real,
if you like it say ‘yikes’,
if not - you are quite right,
I use my muse only to get more money, nothing romantic. ]

Been a few Years ago that My opponent had 4 of a kind in a showdown. I was surprised because I also had same hand with stronger cards. They were a little upset.

I have a few and will share 2 of them. Both occurred at this years Replay Team Championship. The first 1 was knocking out a ranked opponent 10 or under 1-1 at the final table during the tourney. The second happened in the quarter finals of the RTC tourney - we played and advanced to the semis finals despite 1 of our teammates who couldnt make it - essentially getting 0 points from 1 of 3 tourneys.

Playing one night with a friend, when a Replay an old-timer - a Zero-Balance player or ZBP - joined. The zero balance players aren’t about accumulating chips… they play a different game - any two cards are a winner if you push them hard enough… I get it, I don’t play it, but I get it. Anyway… he plays anything, re-raises all-in with 27o, cracked Aces, Kings, rivers a better boat, you name it. At that point it was on. I check automatic rebuy to maximum level & went at it… I had to zero him out - HAD TO. It took three hours. If ZBPs play really really loose-aggressive, this grudge match could only be called reckless-insane. Down. Up. Busted. Over and Over.
But the poker gods finally smiled… I busted him a couple of times & built a stack that could put him down… we traded pots for a while till I flopped a boat with pocket tens… he pushed hard on the paired 7’s on the board… YES He’s got a hand  … HOPE it gets good enough he can’t get away
And it did - he rivered the low boat & pushed it all…
We became friends after that - he still plays insane and drives me crazy, but occasionally I have to play his game just for the rush

There have been a lot of really fun moments. But the topper was years ago, when my best buddy in ring realized that I was a girl. I wish I could have seen his face!!! He apologized for anything he might have said, over and over again (he never said anything bad). He then said he was off to quit the site. He disappeared for a day or two. Then came back and we laughed about for a while. Still my poker BFF to this day. Love ya Pod!!!

i rememeber the first time i just slowed down and got in the money then i pushed and came in 1st i learned that on replay poker. and it did not cost me a nickle…This is a fantastic way to learn, go to school. and even before you go to a tournament you KNOW that you can make money playing POKER!!
I just wish with my whole heart that tennessee would make a way for those who want to play poker to be ABLE too. I can win…but i cant play…I know that is not fair ?? God bless you all but the poor who can play would make money if they were allowed to play a simple tournament,

Lose more than I win LOL
