Can we have game modes of 30, 45 and/or 60 seconds turns? This is a game where you need to use the brain (at least me) and I feel 20 seconds isn’t enough to have good decision making. Most of the time is rushed decision making. I don’t think Texas Hold’em isn’t like this IRL. People have more time to make their decisions. Thanks!
If you had a table of nine people and everyone took 30 seconds to make a decision that’s 4 1/2 minutes.
Also worth mentioning that the blind levels in all of these MTTs/SNGs are only 6 minutes, 8 minutes, or 10 minutes long. So, maximizing one’s hands/level count becomes crucial in order to have more maneuverability as a big stack or as a short stack (sub-10 big blinds). Truthfully, I would say any given player may only have to make a tanking-type decision probably twice during the entirety of any given tournament on here.
But since your achievements (within your profile) seems to indicate that you are almost exclusively a ring game player, then yeah I can understand your desire to want more time for decisions since there isn’t an uptick in blind levels during those games. Maybe they can implement a different kind of timed table for you and others in ring games (or an added time bank for ring game players).
I play many 9 people on a table and seldom see that many play until the River. So, I think you’re exaggerating the time experience to play a hand. Most of the time, it’s down to 3 - 4 by the Turn and few (maybe only 1) will take the entire time bank each time. I’ve learned to put up with these types and try and go out of my way to bust them as soon as possible.
Even if you had one person then take the entire 30 seconds on each turn with the preflop bet, flop, turn, and river that’s 2 min just for them. Just not my style of play. This is just free poker at the end of the day. And that’d be 4 1/2 min if everyone took that time on the preflop, that’s not the whole hand. For instance if you had a ton of sitter outers that initial play could take forever.
OMG, i prefer 5 seconds- it is not rocket science:)
