I wonder if you also read books about poker, right now I am reading a book by Kristoffer Johansson, a Swedish poker player, very interesting book! I wonder if you have any other book tips? I love this game especially Texas Holdem, many people think it’s just luck, but those who say it have never played, it takes skill to win in the end! I do not play to win money, I play because it is fun, but I want to develop and I want to stabilize my game so if you have any tips on a good writer in poker I would be happy! I’ve never honestly read a poker book … But I have drank a lot of beer smoked way to many cigs and played a few hands … I created by style of play from watching some of the greats Sammy Farha, Gus Hanson, Chris Ferguson and Stu Unger to name a few and mixing their styles together i.e Goatsoup

I believe watching and involvement , always start small , are the best ways to learn anything . Books may be a good reference once you know what to look for but learning from a book which contains dry fact and opinion , I think not .

It mess up my head,start to thin to much and i dont play well at all so i give up the book and i start winning today True as you say! watching,play and experience,now i am not so bad poker player,no beginner,just want to go to the next level and stop my up and downs,have to live to learn and go from that!!

I used to read books, but now because I don’t have time to get into books and read, I bought wireless headphones and started listening to podcasts. It’s actually very convenient, especially when you go somewhere, you can listen to podcasts and get into some strategies.

This is a very good book. A simple look at the mental game of poker. I highly recommend it, and I don’t make anything off of it by urging you to take a look. If I’m not allowed to post this, I sincerely apologize.

My favorites will probably always be all of Harrington’s books on poker. I think they are well written, and provide a lot of solid tips you can implement into your game with a little work…
