Just started playing on here and just got my bankroll to 100k chips (pls dont make fun) I noticed u can just relentlessly overbet bluff with air when villains cap themselves, even in multiway pots other ppl who play low stakes do you bluff much?
You’re going to find out that a great many Replayers shove when they make a hand, which is why people are folding to you. You will need to moderate yourself, as ‘relentless’ bluffing inevitably leads into costly traps.
Or bluffing in places where you really don’t have all that too much to gain. Bluffing rarely works in places like Amsterdam which I assume is where you’re at.
It is quite difficult to bluff at low stakes. However, there are still opportunities. Perhaps the best opportunity is to bluff rivers when draws bust. Even hardline call stations will fold less than a pair on the river after calling down everything with air/equity on previous streets. ; )
Oh and, don’t feel too bad about lower bank roll. Takes a while to increase when only playing lower stakes. Try a sit and go that’s where you’ll make some good chips at low risk. (Weekly streak tickets)
The first past doesn’t actually follow from the last. They’re going to have weak hands that fold far more often than strong hands that are trapping, and our bluffs only have to work a bit more than half the time. Running into the odd slow play is no reason to slow down.
You only need to stop against players that are calling you down light, and then you just switch to making massive value bets against them.
I’m reacting to the word relentless.
There’s a player ranked in the mid-800s who loves to raise preflop almost every hand in ring games. People fold at first, then call, hoping to hit the flop, then fold when they don’t, and he slowly builds his stack. On the other hand, I just waited until I had an ace with a good kicker, limped, then shoved when he raised. He called with QT and I busted him. It was one of the nine showdowns I won yesterday. He won all his bluffs but that one because he bluffed relentlessly.
I don’t see how the relentless bluffing was a problem there - just calling the shove. I’m not advocating for bluffing every single hand though. The OP was specific about bluffing when opponents are capped. We can be relentless in that spot.
