It’s been my experience that these folks aren’t around for long. I’ll go all in against the person if I have premium hole cards. If I don’t someone else will. Frequently the person has nothing.
It’s just a momentary annoyance for me.
They’re suggesting that for real poker when playing against competent players, and it’s 3X the BB, not small blind. You’ll get called virtually everytime betting like that. Rarely works on Replay.
Okay, That is what I am seeing at the tables, plus the fact a lot of players that don’t care for that type of play, just leave the table in disgust, as that is their only option at that point. Thank you for your insight billz3135.
Oldgolfer, that is what I thought too. If that were the case then yes, it would only be a small annoyance, but the players I have seen do this, are doing that for extended periods of time. It appears that the only reason those players are doing that is to make other players angry. That is the sad part. Thank you for your feedback.
MinnowShark, thank you for your feedback.
Agree! 3x is pretty small for RP and in most ring games its ineffective and less profitable!. Many tables 4x or larger is fairly standard.
I see some players limp or min open every hand to 2x including AA!
I love foolish players that do that. They tend to over bet and over play their hand. The solution is to see them as a great target, wait for the right hand, see the flop. Watch your position. If the foolish player gets a pair or some hope in his eyes from the flop, no matter what you have, just CHECK and let the person bet. He will come in and probably over-bet. Small raise for you or a CALL, suck him in for more and then nail him big if he bets. Remember, donks get lucky too, be careful.
Thank you for your feedback DogsOfWar.
Thank you very much for the information NolaBruce. The information you gave me will be very helpful when I am on a table with these players. I appreciate your feedback.
Do You play with free chips or do, you buy them? Good next time.
Hi r82nd2. I buy them as I need them.

These ALL IN or high raising pre-flop raisers are nothing but freeloaders looking for the quick load of chips! Rasing before the flop like driving a car blind folded. All they do is hold up play and waste real poker players time. They should look for a table of same raise happy chip seekers. NOT our chips. Frankly I just leave the table…one giant waste of time.
Hi Tunaman. I absolutely agree with you. You summed it up nicely. Thank you for your feedback.
They do it on the Omaha Hi/Low tables too. Most of us think they are coming from hold em looking for some quick chips. We call this type of play “bingo”…
I leave too but this style of play, aka 'Bingo", is growing daily and many nights (I play every nite) I can’t find a “non-bingo” table so am forced to sit there until they bust or leave after leaving several tables. It’s a shame as I play to chill…
Hi LynnJustice, You are right. I go through this almost every night and I don’t find it fun to play like that. But, unfortunately, there is nothing that can be done about it and those certain players know that. Thank you for your feedback.
can I suggest?.. a more challenging game… try league play. I can invite you to play forever phil game…
I totally agree with your comment and its definitely a feature of replay. It does make for a rotten playing experience and I wish replay would do something about it.
i understand they offer pot limit maybe ppl should give that a try??
Lol Jake, a better ambassador I’ve never seen.
As to the rest…patience is a virtue. Wait for the probable nuts, slow bet and take them out. It’s the perfect opportunity to double your stack.
I’ve wished for the same thing, but it’s never gonna happen. Not here or in a casino. I thought if I could get into the bigger games I wouldn’t have to deal with that. I was wrong. So, learn how to take advantage of those players. In fact, you will find that playing with the best players only increases the likelihood that you will have to manage that.
Take a look at the online sites like Poker Coach commenting on the best players and you’ll see the same kind of play.
I wish I could play so well:)
I play a large amount pre-flop when in position, simply because I’m not going to wait for all the limpers to catch up. I only mention that in this thread so that players don’t mistake aggressive mindless play with good play.
