@Iuffy Thanks for reporting this. They both ended at the end of Late Registration.
I think it is to do with the tickets added as prize pool.
I will adjust the ticket prizes

Yes the game just stopped by itself and the prices have been paid out

@oioibaguette @BigWinst @77MIKE33 I added you to the League and gave you some tickets to enter.

not sure what this part of the play window is called, but for me it has been very laggy and slow to update each time I play the PKO as compared to any other tournament i have played :

I was in that game, not sure what happen. heads up we were only about 4 o r 5 hands in, when the other player was eliminated, I waited for others to join but when I looked at the lobby it had posted me as the winner. While the late registration was still open, I assumed more would come, but it probably triggered end of game with only one player left after start, that is why we are in Beta, just another small glitch Rob and his team will handle.
I think this is a blast and would love to use this format for some special games in my league when it’s sorted.
Thank you @Chasetheriver and team for all you do here

If the tournament gets to one player, we end it, even if there is still time to Later Register.

From what I have seen, this format is going to be popular. Do you foresee lower stakes MTT with PKO being worthwhile?

I think adding the progressive bounty will be very popular, the bulk of the players here play at lower stakes, so yes, but don’t forget about us that like 20k and up because, I eat meat and this format makes my fangs want to chew!

I’ve mentioned this previously whether NL Omaha H/L and Pot Limit Omaha H/L can be added to the mix. As you can see from the monthly Marathon games NLO H/L is very popular and there are very few PLO H/L games offered in MTT.

Thanks for any consideration of the above. I’m talking about after the Beta testing is completed and somewhere down the line.

I was intending to put up some non holdem games in the Beta testing.

We also have the option to change percentages so that instead of 50/50 in regard to the Bounty credited, we can have different amounts going to the Prize pool, or won from the opponents Bounty.

I was thinking something like 25% to the prize pool and 75% of your opponents Bounty might suit a lower stake buy in.

I will try some experimental games Monday…

Today, I won the 4 pm tournament. But I don’t understand the payouts I received and I think there were errors made in the payouts and was over paid. Please someone expain these payouts
71.250
71,250
131,813
103,312
Thanks

speaking for myself, the bounties are icing on the cake… i haven’t changed my play or expressly tried to collect bounties. If i take someone out… great!.. but it is not a priority. I think the higher the bounty percentages the more players will play to try to collect.

Hi Rob, Can you add me to the league?

thanks

@ChicagoSerbs see post 106-109 we had a discussion about the same thing. The way the transactions post is a bit buggy but it is correct. The final bounty (winner knocking out 2nd place) get counted separately so it post the 1/2 share of the runner ups bounty (71,250) AND the 1/2 share which would go to your bounty (71,250) (which the winner is now paid) and it lists your bounty PRIOR to the hand which is also paid out to the winner (131,813). The other bounty payouts are added together in the final term (103,312). So you get two transactions for the first place bounty (which should add up to the final bounty show on the lobby/results page) and two transactions for the bounties you won (2nd place’s bounty and all the rest).

@Chasetheriver added that to the list of items to fix so the payouts make more sense.

Done, and some tickets added.

@southwestmba Thank you for your explaination on the payouts

I believe also the format will be popular and low stakes should be included. Low stake players will want to try & learn their strategy’s in the game and progress to higher stake PKO MTT’s

Low stakes can actually make this type of tournament more interesting with say a third of the chip pool being bounty and two thirds being the prize pool . Lower stakes draw more players which usually means a higher percentage of bingo and all-in pre-flop players than in high buy ins. Some of these players may actually recoup their buy in before a more disciplined competent player busts them.

A good player may have poor initial cards and still make it passed the bubble with a nice stack without having collected one bounty. My goal in a tournament is not to win every hand I play, The goal is to win the last hand I play.

i use 1920x1080, the bounty from a player at 6 o’çlock is partly obscured by the chat window

if the bounty could be placed at the top or bottom of the player name?

bounty-top

…hello brother, all good here… thanks for invite…happy to test…
