Southwest you inspired me. This has got to be my best day yet for tourneys… and it’s not yet 4pm!
7/9 final tables, 4/9 first or second place
Day 5, obviously, 2500 chips … cha ching!
Facetious!
Not a best financial day but a hand to remember, … Hand #913633629
@southwestmba this includes the stretch of 4/7 1st place wins in 1M MTTS (I misstated it as 4/6 when we were playing yesterday, oops!). And culminating with 2nd place in the 5M Widow’s Bite (was all-in with A8 vs. K3, level stacks… not meant to be for me this time!).
Sorry it’s small I had to fit it all in there lol. A few early wipeouts but otherwise lots of 1s, 2s, and other small numbers : )
That is one hell of a stretch. Winning 4 of 7 at that level is still hardcore good. Winning takes great play and hitting on the all the right flips. And avoiding the landmines I’ve been stepping on lately. (Ace high flush in seven card stud losing to another ace high flush with a higher kicker when he made his flush on 7th street, or busting out my last two tournaments with AA late when I’m either a huge chip leader at the final table or going home.)
But you are sitting at #1 on the Toplists for both the Year and the month for a good reason
I still haven’t got passed winning 2 in a row, but i did win 3 in a row that I played in one league (Nordic Warriors). I missed one game in that span and won the other 3.
Dude you’re crushing it in Nordic league! Don’t think I didn’t notice.
Another nice stretch from yesterday evening through today:
Total High Buy-In MTTs: 16
In The Money: 11
Top 3: 5
Wins: 2
ROI: 233% (lol)
EDIT: Throw this one in too
@Pos111 more numbers to chase
For LOW VOLUME, i have pretty good results.
I started out cashing about 45% of MTT’s, and winning about 1,2 of them.
Then I cooled off, but still cashed about 23% to 25% to 27% of MTT’s, and have won 6 MTT’s.
That’s in the first month of joining Replay. I have only been here at site for almost a month.
I have gone from 20k to over a million.
I hopefully just ended a very bad run of 1,2 cashes, in 16+ MTT Tournaments, by cashing, winning about 36% of the about last about 7+ MTT’s.
If I’d play more volume, I would probably have better results. Im not busy, so I could play more volume. But if I did so tournaments would, do take up a lot of time. I could play more Sit N Goes, but most of the Sit N Goes, that actually get played, only have about 9 to 18 players. 27 to 36 players fills up too SLOW, takes to long to fill up.
Despite that, I could play more Sit N Goes, MTT’s, if I wanted to.
Yeah you were pretty clutch tonight @Younguru. Of course I did donate all my chips to you because for some reason I thought you were bluffing to steal my blind to kick start your winning run to the final table :). I learn alot playing against you cause you do point out the holes in my game.
Bad@$$!
Not sure I’ve ever had a 7-game stretch this good. Very impressive. Nice work.
Podium Finishes (August 5th - late night August 6):
PKO Solar Eclipse (1M) - 3rd
Warm Speed (1M) - 3rd
Morcosborcos’ Kindness (100k) - 2nd
Big Bank Theory (500k) - 1st
Full Moon (1M) - 1st
PKO Bounty Adventure (100k) - 2nd
Supernova (1M) - 1st
Was only able to get the last three in-a-row like you did. Took some Ls in between. Will keep trying.
I had a nice little run yesterday evening and today.
From the 12 tournaments I played, I made the final table in all of them and cashed in 10 of them (only not in Full Moon and The Shakedown).
I know the placements are all rather mediocre but I’ll take what I can get
Ridiculous run! That’s truly remarkable consistency, some of those fields are not small at all.
Congrats!
Amazing run!
12 in a row is clearly the leader in the clubhouse for the final table streak challenge. I can totally see it happening though, when you get on a roll you are fire.
I think 10/12 ITM is even more impressive
