I NEVER dreamed of receiving any compliments here, ohh I’m very flattered and touched, and without words to thank these compliments coming from friends who are very special to me, who are part of my life. I hadn’t seen that PrimeTime won, but, like Sergente, I am not at all surprised. PrimeTime was one of my favorite players to play against in the Silver ranks. We really have a great group of players in the stables. I am grateful to be among you.

Puggywug gives the best Eeyore impression ever. It is even better than Eeyore. Thanks for always giving me a laugh. I tried to embody your despair today when I missed 20 straight flops, but I only felt despair. It wasn’t nearly as funny.

Sorry for arriving so late at the celebration of Jack / @boyd2’s amazing achievement and recognition. Well done Jack, what you’ve done really is unique and will stay so. The other day @12beat22 asked me what I thought was the most important recognition ever assigned, and I immediately answered Jack’s, to which he completely agreed. We also said that a new Donk or someone who didn’t know Jack probably wouldn’t have given the same answer. The point is that Jack really cares about this League and takes it super - seriously.
He was the one who recruited me, and the story behind it is the proof of how seriously he takes this League. I was a baby player desperately looking for ways to improve my game and found myself at the final table of an MTT way bigger than me with Jack and @ahured.
The game was a blast, at least for me, and at the end I started stalking Jack, who appeared to me as some kind of superstar, with his shiny shirt and his amazing rank. So I asked him - where do I need to play to improve my game? And Jack answered - go below 3000 ranking and believe me your game will change. But he wouldn’t tell me why, to the point that I was convinced that players with <3000 rank were treated better by the dealer … such an Italian thought …
He suggested I played some 100k SNGs to increase my bankroll and so I did. Kept asking him hints, questions, what did I do right what did I do wrong, and he would always help out, but never once he mentioned the Donks because he knew I wasn’t ready. So I gradually got to ca. 3600 rank and at that point I now openly admit that I bought the chips I needed to get below 3000. So I went to him with a ta-daaaaa and he said that it would be ideal if I went below 2000, I still haven’t asked him why … so I start my playing routine again but was winning 2 losing 3 so after my 10th PM of a summer day in July he finally tells me about the Donks with such passion and detail and care that I now know only he could have done.
Since then he always followed me, at the beginning on a regular basis, he would come watch me play some of my first Tourneys and I felt super powers when he was there for me. He insisted that I joined the Donk TP team, Then, as I started finding my may, he started letting go of me, like you do with a child that‘a growing up.
Thanks Jack, you’re the true essence of the Donk spirit, and nobody will be able to take this prize away from you. It’s yours forever.
