Calling all Creatives, :index_pointing_at_the_viewer:

From July 11th 2025 Replay will launch new Elite stake MTT.

  • There will be higher stake Omaha Hi/Lo MTTs of 250K and 1 million buy in (one each)
  • Proposed Times:11:30 ET and 15:45 ET
  • There will be higher stake NL Holdem MTTs of 2.5 and 5 million buy in, (also one each)
  • Exact Hold’em times are undisclosed as yet, TBA (See below)
  • 500,000 Prize chips for the suggestions we use

We need names !!!. I know I came to the right place to get some ideas…

The last contest generated Out for Blood, Funnel Web Burn and Praying Mantis for Elite stake MTT.

We would like more predatory animal style names our four new MTTs.

Usual restrictions apply.

  • Should (at least loosely) follow the predatory animal theme in the name
  • Must be 15 characters or fewer.
  • No inappropriate names or obvious trademarks.
  • Please limit your suggestions to five total.
  • I will nominate 4 winners at the end of the contest

An indication of your personal preference about making them PKO or not in each post would be helpful too, if you please :folded_hands:

Crouching Tiger / Hidden Dragon (works as co-names for two cousin tournaments - say identical stakes, one Hold’em one Omaha or something ~ get an achievement badge if you win them both!)

Shark Tank (because Shark Infested Waters is too long, but if you want to bend the rule on max characters, Shark Infested Waters)

It the risk of oversubmitting, how about something super simple yet very effective like:

Preference:

Both NLH events (2.5M and 5M) and the higher O8 event (1M…the first non-hold’em event to be greater than 250K) should NOT be PKO events. The payout structures for placements get stunted badly at the 1M+ level (refer to the PKO Solar Eclipse). {PKO events payout well the lower and lower the buy-in amount goes.}

I would be fine if the latest 250K O8 event (opposite its cousin: Omaha Adrenaline) was PKO.
