Bumpity, bump bump,.

Promotion pages, schedule and rules are live on the Dashboard.

There is plenty of time to prepare Teams, but if you are a wandering star, its never too soon to speak up in the Find A Team thread.

Another chance for me to get this to the top of the Forum page.

There was a question about length of Team name.
It looks like we have quite a bit of leeway, but I am going to say 25 characters, including spaces, is a reasonable cap. If some one comes up with an absolute belter which is slightly longer, I might allow it.

Could you please list the seating format in the Format Section.

Hi, The seating will be 6 max and start stacks are 5,000.

I can add that to the format page.

15:00 ET
what time is that in europe exactly?

@o_V_o

It depends on where you are located. With VPN, one never really knows anotherā€™s location these days. I guess one could use their cellphone or Google it. My phone has a world clock feature. I see your country flag is the Netherlands and using my computerā€™s AI feature this is the reply.

Me:

what time is it in the Netherlands when it is 3 pm in New York

Copilot

When itā€™s 3:00 PM in New York, itā€™s 9:00 PM in Amsterdam, Netherlands. The Netherlands is 6 hours ahead of New York, so thereā€™s a significant time difference between the two cities. If youā€™re planning a call or meeting, keep in mind that 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM in New York corresponds to 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM in Amsterdam, which are usual working hours there.

I hope this helps.

I have added a 2. time zone to my Windows 10 clock, US ET:

image

Sometimes i need it. Right click to the time, ā€œchange date/timeā€ in pop up menu, and you can add a time zone. And: Europe has 4 time zones. Changes on summer-/winter-/daylighttime are not on the same date.
On Windows start button you can find a clock tool too, but you can there only add a city, not a time zone.

All in German language again, sorry.

@Vegasgal69

Hi, please check out the other thread and reach out to one of the other players still not signed up

Best of Luck,

For reference, the cumulative Qualifying Leaderboard is on this page.

The four weekly Qualifying Leaderboards will be here.

Remember, each team will score the best 9 of the 12 scores by any of the players for the qualifying round.

From the quarter final onwards, the score from all 3 team members will count to the team score.

Be lucky !! :vulcan_salute:

@Chasetheriver

Iā€™d like to submit a suggestion for next yearā€™s RTC. Offer a different type of game for the first four Qualifying Games and then keep the remaining games NL Holdā€™em.

I think the Qualifying Games should be but not necessarily in this order:

  1. NL Holdā€™em
  2. NL Omaha H/L
  3. Pot Limit Omaha H/L
  4. 7 Card Stud H/L

Some players are specialists and others are generalists. Btw, I really like PLO H/L but I can play all of the above. Just donā€™t offer Royal as an option. Different offerings will be similar to the annual RPOS series which highlights player poker skills.

The monthly Marathon games show that the NL Omaha H/L is a popular game here. The other suggestions are just to offer some variety and a display of personal poker skills.

Maybe you can conduct a Poll and consider it and whether others think this will be a improved format.

Thank you for considering the suggestion,

Hi @smooth99,

Agreed, I really like this idea. The only drawback I see is that relatively new players shy away from the non holdā€™em games.

We could implement a mix of games where one player always gets holdā€™em, another gets 50% holdā€™em and the third gets 50% or less holdā€™em.

The knockout stages might still have to be all holdā€™em, unless there is a call for ā€˜all roundā€™ RTC games. Changing the format in the middle of the series could be seen as inconsistent.

I will make sure this is noted.
