I was born in Bethlehem, PA. It was founded in 1741 by immigrants from Moravia, Saxony, Germany. On Christmas eve, a group of Moravians, led by Nicolaus Ludwig von Zinzendorf, were in Nazareth, PA and were going to move to a new, unnamed settlement. In light of the parallel of Joseph and Mary going from Nazareth to Bethlehem at Christmas time, it was decided to call the new settlement Bethlehem.

I´m a Canadian now permanently retired In Germany.
Born in Port Arthur Ontario Canada, raised in a coal mining town in County Durham UK called Catchgate, Moved to Mansfield, Nottinghamshire. Started international travel as an electrical supervisor Came to Canada in 1977 initially worked at an underground mine in BC moved to Fort Mac in Alberta, spent time in Calgary and eventually moved to Calgary and then started overseas travel for work. Traveled and worked in Europe, Middle and Far East. Retired now.
I am from a small town in Western WA, USA. The town is Yelm. We are not too far from the beautiful mountain named Rainier. The Indians’ name for it was Tahoma, I feel it should have retained that name.
My great-great-grandparents, James and Virinda Longmire brought the first direct wagon train into Fort Nisqually in 1853. They then homesteaded a few miles away in Yelm. He built the first road to Mt. Rainier and Virinda named the Paradise area.

I am from Oregon and lived here most of my life. I am retired Law enforcement. I am married with 4 grown kids, 9 grandkids and 2 Great Grand kids. I’m from Upstate New York–First Watertown, then Penfield (a suburb of Rochester). I have lived in Connecticut most of my life. Right now I am between CT and Alexandria, Virgina.

I live on the edge of the Dear Green Place…the city of GLASGOW (not pronounced in the manner of “Moscow”; it’s “GLAZZ-GO”!) in the west of Scotland! The local village is called Bearsden for the simple reason that the station-master two hundred years ago had a bear…hence…! However it has been a place for around two thousand years; we’ve got the ruins of a Roman baths…and The Bearsden Shar-…(“sharc”; my eyboard is bro-en!) is a palaeontological curiosity! So there you go! Far out or what?! XDDD
