I want to play with better players always whenever possible

I like to play against better or similar players. I play Replay because it’s fun and I enjoy the challenge and the fact that I play against people like myself, who need a break, have to poop, eat dinner, have gut feelings, and sometimes play inebriated. That’s what makes this site so fun, and why I have played here for many years.
i play poker for the competition and mental stimuli overcoming someone who plays a better game is not only good for the mental side but is also good for the ego and pride
Better than m e because you can learn more than if you play with poorer players.

It really depends, I mainly play what the tournament is and the buy in
playing against better players makes you a better normally
Playing players better gives you the opportunity to learn, thus improving your skills winning is rewarding, but learning to be better is a skill over looked! And have FUN?
Better players because poker is supposed to be a challenge not something completely easy
I feel challenged when playing against someone with greater skill.
The only thing you can learn from worse players is what not to do. But this is valuable. As valuable in fact as learning what to do. So, I like to play against better players AND worse players. But I prefer to play against better players because in addition to the positive learning (learning what to do), which lets say equals the value of learning what not to do, it offers much more enjoyment. It is like playing soccer against highly skilled player. Sure they kick your ass,
but what a joy to witness and learn and be part of the thing.

I prefer playing against good players, many of whom are better than me. I find the lower the ranking (ie better), the more steady the player - no constant raising, no all ins pre flop, etc.

The more competitive the better - so similar levels.
For me is very difficult to say who is better or worse as it is a deceiving game. Some players seem to have a very good run of luck, and it sometimes happens to me as well.
Competition is always a good thing. It forces us to do our best. A monopoly renders people complacent and satisfied with mediocrity.
